Tights

Bulma looked at him, a little displeased.

"How about I show you around this afternoon? Wherever you want to go, I'll take you there!"

"Can you take me into space to see my sister?"

"Your sister?"

"Yeah! She left Earth when I was very young!"

"Why did she leave Earth?"

"To pursue her dream!"

"Her dream?"

"Yeah! She wanted to become a science fiction adventure novelist. That's why she left Earth—to gather material on planets across the universe!"

"I see!"

"So, can you take me to see her?"

"No problem!"

Sun Wukong smiled.

"Then how are you planning to take me into space?"

"Did you forget? I can use Instant Transmission."

Sun Wukong grinned.

"Can your Instant Transmission take you that far? I thought it only let you move around Earth!"

"Of course it can!"

"But even so, do you know where my sister is right now?"

"No! But I have a way to find out where she is."

"What way?"

"You'll find out after we eat."

Sun Wukong smiled.

Seeing that he was deliberately keeping her in suspense, Bulma puffed out her cheeks.

Sun Wukong just smiled and still didn't tell her.

After lunch, the two returned home. Bulma couldn't hold back her curiosity any longer.

"Goku, what exactly is this way you have of finding my sister?"

"Bulma, have you ever heard of divination?"

"I have. It's supposed to help people predict good and bad fortune, right?"

Sun Wukong nodded.

"Goku, why are you asking? Don't tell me you can tell fortunes?"

"A little."

"A little?"

"Yeah!"

"Then use divination right now and see where my sister is!"

"Sure!"

As he spoke, Sun Wukong took a crystal ball out of the system.

"Goku, where did this crystal ball come from?"

"I've always had it with me. I used the Transformation Technique to turn it into a stone and kept it on me."

"Really?"

Bulma looked doubtful.

"All right, enough about that. Let's see where she is."

"Okay!"

Sun Wukong recited an incantation to the crystal ball.

A blonde, blue-eyed woman immediately appeared inside it.

It was Tights, Bulma's older sister.

Standing beside Tights was a man with blue skin on his face and purple skin everywhere else.

His eyes looked like salted egg yolks, and he wore a Galactic Patrol uniform.

He was Jaco, a Galactic Patrolman.

"Jaco! Sis!"

Bulma recognized the two people in the crystal ball at once.

"Jaco?"

"Jaco's a good friend of my sister's. She was able to leave Earth because she rode in his spaceship!"

"I see!"

"But Goku, how can you tell what planet my sister's on just from a picture?"

"Don't worry!"

Sun Wukong smiled.

The next moment, a red planet appeared in the crystal ball.

It was Volcano Planet, where Tights was now.

Then Volcano Planet vanished, and a miniature map of the four galaxies appeared in the crystal ball.

The planet they'd just seen was marked by a red dot in the North Galaxy.

It was about a hundred light-years from Earth.

Bulma was stunned by what she saw.

The crystal ball could even be used as a map.

"All right, now you know where your sister is. Shall I take you there?"

"Mm!"

Bulma nodded.

Sun Wukong immediately used God-level Instant Transmission and took Bulma to Volcano Planet.

However, although he'd brought Bulma to Volcano Planet, God-level Instant Transmission couldn't take them to the exact location.

So Sun Wukong used the crystal ball again and then led Bulma to Tights.

"Bulma!"

Tights was both surprised and delighted to see Bulma suddenly appear.

Bulma smiled and nodded.

"It's been a long time, Sis. Jaco!"

"Mm!"

Tights nodded.

"S-Saiyan!"

Jaco, standing off to the side, stared at Sun Wukong in terror.

Tights didn't know about Saiyans, but he did.

The reason he'd gone to Earth in the first place was to eliminate Sun Wukong, the Saiyan.

Later, when he failed to find Sun Wukong, he gave up on eliminating him.

Now that Sun Wukong had appeared with Bulma, Jaco strongly suspected he was the Saiyan baby who'd been sent to Earth all those years ago.

"Jaco, what's wrong?"

Tights asked when she saw how strange he was acting.

"S-Saiyan!"

Jaco stammered.

"Saiyan?"

Tights looked at Sun Wukong.

"Bulma, who is this?"

Bulma smiled and took Sun Wukong's hand.

"This is my boyfriend, Sun Wukong!"

"Hello!"

Sun Wukong greeted them both.

Tights smiled and nodded.

"Not bad taste, Bulma!"

"B-boyfriend?"

Jaco was shocked.

Bulma had actually gotten herself a Saiyan boyfriend!

Bulma smiled.

"By the way, Sis, why did you cut your hair?"

"I travel a lot, and short hair is easier to wash. It saves me quite a bit of time!"

"Have you found a boyfriend, Sis?"

"Not yet. Why, do you want to introduce me to someone?"

"No! I was just asking!"

"I think your boyfriend's pretty good. How about you give him to me?"

Tights teased her.

"Sis!"

Bulma was immediately annoyed.

"I'm joking! I'm joking! By the way, Bulma, how did you two get here?"

"Goku brought me here to find you."

"Oh!"

Tights glanced at Sun Wukong.

"Did you come here in a spaceship?"

"No, Goku used Instant Transmission to bring me here!"

"Instant Transmission?"

The sisters had endless things to talk about. Sun Wukong and Jaco stood off to the side, staring awkwardly at each other. They only got a word in now and then, when one of the sisters spoke to them.

Since the two sisters spent all their time catching up, Sun Wukong got bored and shared the drinks he'd brought with them.

Jaco saw that Sun Wukong didn't seem like a bad guy and gradually let down his guard.

After Bulma and Tights had talked for half the day, Bulma finally got ready to leave.

"Sis, it's getting late. I should be heading back."

Tights smiled and nodded.

"When you and Goku get married, be sure to let me know!"

"Okay! You can come back to Earth whenever you want, too!"

"Okay!"

After saying that, Tights waved goodbye to Bulma and the others.

With a single Instant Transmission, Sun Wukong took Bulma back to Earth.

"We're back!"

Looking at the familiar courtyard, Bulma felt a warmth she couldn't quite describe.

No matter how wonderful things were elsewhere, home was still the best.
