"Conan, how old are you this year? Where did you sell Ran off to?"
Everyone: ...
Frieza froze; it seemed like they had crossed into the wrong show!
"Ahem! Conan, was it? Shouldn't you get to the point of why you came here?"
They had been clowning around for several chapters now; if this dragged on any longer, not to mention the readers, even Frieza couldn't stand it.
I, Frieza, am the protagonist! I haven't had much screen time in these last few episodes, have I?
No fighting, no searching for Dragon Balls, not even training—just standing here with this combat power acting like a big shot!
I, Frieza, have a combat power of 800 million. Have I gotten arrogant?
I, Frieza, could crush the three of you by myself. Have I been overbearing?
I even only had one cup of Watermelon Bobo!
Am I, Frieza, angry?
Fine, I am angry. I invented this stuff, yet you guys drank more of it than I did!
Ahem... it seems I've gone off-topic again.
Frieza: Off-topic my foot! I am the protagonist; if I want to vent, how is that off-topic!
Trunks scratched his head in embarrassment. Although he couldn't quite make sense of this timeline, other than Frieza not being an enemy and Vegeta being able to transform into a Super Saiyan, nothing else seemed different.
Well, those are minor issues; whether I, Trunks, can be born is the real big deal!
Conan it is, then!
"Everyone, I came here to tell you one thing. Don't ask me how I know, because I can't explain it for the life of me!"
The crowd had black lines running down their foreheads. You idiot, just tell us what it is! If you don't say it, how are we supposed to ask anything?
"Continue!"
Frieza's sinister gaze was very displeased!
If you don't say it, how is the plot supposed to move forward?!
"In about three years, on May 12th at ten o'clock in the morning, a pair of incredibly powerful individuals will appear on an island nine kilometers southwest of the southern region!"
Vegeta interrupted Trunks's narration and said disdainfully.
"Incredibly powerful? Can they be stronger than me?"
Trunks was stunned. It seemed, perhaps, that the future Androids really weren't stronger than his father!
This... this!
"If we use my strength as a standard, any one of them is only a little bit stronger than me..."
As he spoke, Trunks's voice grew quieter. He could clearly feel that Father Vegeta was much stronger than him, and Mr. Son Goku might be even stronger than his father!
Also, that Frieza who kept smirking—it seemed his father was extremely wary of him?
Wait, hadn't he just been beaten to a pulp by Frieza?
If that was the case, Frieza's strength had also exceeded what it was supposed to be. With a group like this on Earth, could the Androids really still stir up such a disaster?
"Pfft! I thought it was something major. Although I don't know how you know about things three years from now, according to your own words, this so-called pair is nothing special!"
Bulma was more concerned about this matter. After all, it was happening on Earth, and since Earth was her home, it was better to get it cleared up.
"Conan, continue. Who exactly are they? Are they aliens?"
When mentioning aliens, Bulma looked at Frieza. It seemed this guy was the leader of the aliens, right?
"Don't look at me. Just remember to compensate me for the agency fees for the Watermelon Bobo later! Oh-ho-ho-ho!"
Bulma turned her head, refusing to look at Frieza's money-grubbing face anymore!
Dodoria, as the number one lackey, saw Bulma ignoring his master and was about to fly into a rage!
"How dare you—wuwuwu!"
Then, Dodoria's head was shoved into the dirt, and he could only make muffled sounds.
Frieza's tail slowly lowered, signaling everyone to ignore him.
Trunks was sweating buckets, but he didn't dare not speak.
"They aren't aliens; they are Androids created by Dr. Gero. Their appearance is solely to destroy all of humanity. They killed Mr. Vegeta and Mr. Piccolo!"
"Piccolo died, Kami disappeared, and the Dragon Balls lost their power and turned into stone! Krillin, Tien Shinhan, Yamcha, Master Roshi, and others were all killed by the Androids. In the end, even Son Gohan... uh... he died too!"
Hearing the news of their own deaths from Trunks's mouth, everyone wore strange expressions.
However, they were all standing there perfectly fine right now, and they had just been fighting over drinks, too.
At this moment, Trunks also remembered the Watermelon Bobo in his hand. Seeing everyone staring at it, he quickly bit the straw and took a blissful sip.
Watermelon Bobo had the ability to ease the atmosphere!
The mood improved once again. After all, who knew if the future was real or not? Besides, the other party had said the Androids weren't as strong as Vegeta, so what was there to worry about?
"Wait! What about me? You said they all died in battle, so why didn't you say how I died?"
Son Goku suddenly realized something was wrong; it seemed Conan hadn't mentioned what happened to him!
He was an Android, for goodness' sake! How could he possibly have not participated in the fighting?
Future Trunks froze, nearly choking on his Watermelon Bobo.
This Son Goku was actually curious about how he died?
After a fit of violent coughing, Future Trunks pulled a small bottle out of his pocket.
"Mr. Son Goku, you didn't participate in the fighting. Two years from now, you will die from a disease called Viral Heart Disease; you never even had the chance to join the battle!"
Future Trunks already knew how unreliable this group was, so he didn't wait for Son Goku to speak and continued.
"This is a special medicine for heart disease. As long as you take it when the symptoms start, you'll be fine!"
Having said it all in one breath, Future Trunks felt like he was about to have a breakdown.
He didn't want to stay in this godforsaken timeline for even one more second. He would rather return to his own time to have a knock-down, drag-out fight with the Androids than keep dawdling with this bunch.
It was too much of a headache!
"That's that. I still have to deliver—pfft, I mean, I have urgent business, so I'm leaving!"
Unable to wait any longer, he took out the capsule containing the Time Machine and tossed it into the distance.
Boom!
A Time Machine capable of holding only one person appeared just like that.
"Ohohoho! Hey, hey—wait! I'm quite curious about this machine of yours. Bulma, study it and build one for me too!"
Boom!
Before Future Trunks could even climb in, the Time Machine reverted into a capsule, snatched away by Frieza.
"Frieza!! Give me back my capsule!! The future needs me; I can't stay here!!"
Future Trunks panicked and decided to try and snatch it back.
Bang!
Whoosh!
Ding!
The world went quiet; Future Trunks had been swiped away by Frieza's tail and was nowhere to be seen.
"When I, Frieza, want something, it is not for you to point fingers!"
"Here, you have three days. If you can't figure out the principles behind it, you can just end yourself!"
Tossing the capsule to Bulma, Frieza departed with flair.
To be precise, Frieza vanished!
However, everyone was used to it by now. Frieza's style was always to come and go without a trace, so no one had much to say about it.
"Goku! Goku! What kind of skills did you actually learn on Planet Yardrat? Shenron only said you were there training new techniques, hurry up and tell us!"
Son Goku rubbed his nose; he couldn't refuse Krillin's request.
"It's nothing much, just a skill called Instant Transmission. As long as I can sense someone's energy, I can quickly teleport to their side."
"Oh, right, the way Frieza just vanished? That was Instant Transmission!"
Where had Frieza gone?
He had arrived at Planet Yardrat and found Husu, the one who had originally taught him Instant Transmission and Star Transformation!
