Whoosh!
Frieza appeared beside the group, flicked his finger, and everyone—along with the tables, chairs, and benches—began to float in the air.
"You all owe me a favor, oh-ho-ho-ho~!"
Swish~
Including Piccolo, Frieza departed with the energy bubble, reappearing moments later right next to Dodoria.
Dodoria had been stationed in the computer room at Bulma's house, tasked with remotely managing the Frieza Force.
The sudden arrival of so many people caught Dodoria off guard, but the moment he saw Frieza's face, he bowed at a ninety-degree angle and shouted.
"Greetings, Lord Frieza!!"
Bulma's entire household was in an uproar, the building itself trembling and shaking in terror.
I can't do this job anymore; I'm going to have a heart attack sooner or later!
You all can leave; I'll just have my relatives come over. Even with such high pay, I'm leaving—what a bunch of idiots!
And yet, not a single employee actually quit.
Sometimes, the power of money is just that simple and unpretentious~~
Frieza offered Dodoria a word of encouragement, telling him to settle down and focus on his work.
Just as he stepped out of the computer room, swish, Son Goku and Vegeta appeared out of thin air, both collapsing directly onto the ground.
"Fri—Fri—Frieza, you're so strong!"
Following Vegeta's blackout, Son Goku finally reached his limit and fainted on the spot.
Another wave of chaos ensued, while Krillin flew off without looking back.
He was heading to Korin Tower to find Korin; that guy should have a stockpile of Senzu Beans.
Sigh, the post-meal digestion exercise almost cost lives and even destroyed a planet; I suppose that counts as doing Beerus another favor.
"Lord Frieza! Cooler has made contact, and he is currently heading toward the Ice Planet!"
No sooner had Son Goku and the others passed out than Dodoria came rushing out in a panic to report the situation to Frieza.
Everything else was manageable, but Dodoria didn't dare mess around when it came to matters involving Cooler.
It was said that Cooler's combat power was the greatest; in terms of both strength and influence, he was an existence that the Frieza Force had to look up to.
"Understood. Tell him I will return to the Ice Planet shortly!"
Glancing in the direction Krillin had left, Frieza thought that while he was strong enough now and the Frost Demon Race possessed incredible recovery abilities, even the best can stumble. It was still necessary to keep some Senzu Beans on hand, and besides, that dead weight Yajirobe couldn't be allowed to waste them anymore.
Swish~
The group was startled; Frieza had vanished again. They didn't know where he had gone to digest his meal this time, but they hoped the Earth could withstand it.
No one knew how long Korin Tower had existed; it was only known that it had been there since ancient times, back when humanity had just appeared on Earth.
Above Korin Tower sat a structure that was the exact inverse of Bulma's house: the bowl-shaped Lookout.
The Guardian of the Lookout was the embodiment of Piccolo's goodness—a useless waste of space who, aside from creating the Dragon Balls, had achieved nothing.
The Lookout was also home to a divine attendant named Mr. Popo, with his pitch-black skin, round eyes, and attire reminiscent of an indigenous person; his preferred mode of transport was a flying carpet.
Frieza often wondered if there was a magic lamp hidden somewhere.
Setting aside the magic lamp, Mr. Popo was the one character Frieza had found most inscrutable when reading the original work.
If the position of Angel from Dragon Ball Super hadn't existed, Mr. Popo would just be an ordinary divine attendant. But with the existence of Angels, Mr. Popo's true identity became highly suspicious.
Mr. Popo himself had claimed that he served not only the current Piccolo but also the previous Guardian. Piccolo was already looking quite aged, yet Mr. Popo remained as sprightly as ever—heaven only knew how many generations of Guardians he had served.
Swish~
When Frieza reappeared, he was already inside Korin Tower. Without even glancing at the fat man Yajirobe, he flicked his tail tip, sending Yajirobe flying toward Bulma's house in West City.
"If you dare come here to eat Senzu Beans again, don't expect to survive next time!"
Yajirobe, unable to control his own body, could only helplessly crash into the outhouse at Bulma's place.
When Yamcha found him, Yajirobe was hiccuping and vomiting, looking like a man who had lost all will to live.
I just ate a few Senzu Beans, who did I offend?
Now look at this—not only were the beans I just ate wasted, but they've been contaminated!
Was Frieza doing this on purpose?
He truly wasn't; he didn't even need to use the facilities, so how could he have known what was at the landing site?
"Oh-ho-ho-ho~!"
"Master Korin, is it? Hand over all your Senzu Beans!"
Korin knew well just how bold Frieza was; standing high up with a clear view, he naturally knew exactly what Frieza had been doing on Earth.
He could not be called a heinous villain, but he was certainly no saint either.
If you went along with his wishes, everything was easy to discuss!
But if you went against his temper, no amount of pleading would do you any good!
Take Yamcha, for instance—that poor, unlucky soul. Because Frieza was staying at his girlfriend's house, eating and drinking for free, and practically freeloading, how could he possibly be comfortable with that?
He had no idea if Frieza still possessed the functions of a man, but he felt as though a pair of horns were about to sprout from his own head.
Consequently, he let slip some unpleasant remarks, such as calling him a freeloader and complaining about him bringing a subordinate along to freeload as well.
Yamcha wasn't actually lying, but he was promptly dug out from underground, left with only a single breath remaining.
Sighing, Korin felt quite helpless.
If he hadn't been guarding against Yajirobe like a thief, rationing out the beans one by one, and managed to feed Yamcha a Senzu Bean just in time, Yamcha would have surely perished.
Korin had no choice but to go along with Frieza's temperament.
"Mr. Frieza, I only have 30 Senzu Beans left here. Could you allow me to keep a few for emergencies?"
Korin was truly not lying; these 30 beans were the entire output of the past year.
"Just give me 20; I only need them for an emergency anyway. This stuff doesn't even taste good!"
Frieza had tried one before; the taste was poor, with a raw flavor that made him feel a bit nauseous.
The effects were truly remarkable, though. Regardless of whether you were missing an arm or a leg, as long as the severed limb was still there, one Senzu Bean would guarantee a full recovery!
The speed of recovery was also rapid; it certainly had its unique merits!
"Very well! Mr. Frieza is truly a reasonable and great person!"
Korin offered a very sincere compliment before immediately producing a small pouch containing 20 Senzu Beans.
Frieza did not hesitate, waving his hand to store them away into his storage space; the two-meter-square space was quite handy.
"Set aside some of the annual yield for me. If Earth runs into trouble, I won't just stand by and watch!"
This was a certainty. Frieza had been a person from Earth before he transmigrated, so how could he be willing to watch Earth get destroyed by others?
Of course, if it were destroyed by his own hand, that would be a different matter entirely!
"Many thanks, Mr. Frieza!!"
This time, Korin's gratitude was heartfelt. Being able to trade Senzu Beans for the promise of such a powerhouse was a deal well worth making!
Whoosh~
Korin looked at the empty Korin Tower; Frieza's figure was already gone.
"King Kai, Frieza doesn't seem as wicked and vicious as you described!"
On North Kai Planet.
A short, stout man with two antennae on his head shook the flesh on his body, his antennae twitching as he spoke.
"However, Frieza's brother, Cooler, is truly a man who commits every evil imaginable!"
The fourth update is here!
Good afternoon, everyone!
