Uchiha Obito was the same. The key to training him was stimulating the awakening of his Sharingan. As long as it awakened, everything else would be easy. Even if the methods were a bit harsh, it was all for the sake of opening his eyes.
Of course, hitting them a little harder had some additional effects. It could leave psychological scars in their hearts, making them instinctively obey him in the future.
The ninja tool shop was highly efficient, and with enough money to throw around, Yang Hao received the three custom-made staffs the very next day.
"What are you trying to do?"
During taijutsu training class, Sarutobi Asuma's face was filled with wariness as he watched someone approach with three staffs slung over his shoulder.
He had a bad feeling about this.
"I'm teaching you staff techniques."
Yang Hao beamed as he planted the long staff and the heavy staff from his shoulder into the ground one after another. Holding a short staff in hand, he formed the Seal of Confrontation, then charged forward.
"I refuse to fight you."
Asuma's scalp went numb. He wanted to refuse, but unfortunately, refusal was not an option.
The short staff came swinging at him, and he could only raise his kunai to block it. But the force behind it was too great, pressing the kunai into his arm. The pain twisted his face.
And that was only the beginning. Yang Hao proceeded to wield the short staff one-handed, rapping and striking Sarutobi Asuma all over. Before long, his face was swollen and bruised, blood streamed down from his nose, and his body was covered in bruises from the staff. Several large lumps had risen on his head as well.
It was not as though Sarutobi Asuma had not tried to fight back.
