He had to master the Armament Haki Uncle Rayleigh had mentioned as soon as possible. That way, he would be able to withstand Grandpa's punches.
"Let's go!"
Once the small warship drew close, Garp grabbed his grandson by the scruff and leaped aboard the massive ship.
Boa Hancock hesitated for a moment before ultimately following him aboard.
Of course, with her strength, she could not jump up in one go and had to use the ship's hull for leverage several times.
"Vice Admiral Garp?"
Yang Hao, who had been studying the wooden planks on the deck, turned around in confusion at the arrival of Garp, Luffy, and Boa Hancock.
Why had these three come over?
"Wahahaha..."
"This is my grandson. Give him some training. Just make sure he doesn't get beaten to death in the future."
Garp grinned. He had brought his grandson over specifically so this kid could teach him.
This kid was a genuine genius, the kind that surpassed all understanding. He was also good at teaching people. Under his guidance, Luffy would definitely become tougher and more able to take a beating.
It would be even better if he could pass down the Armament Haki and the Power of Justice.
"Long time no see, Luffy."
His gaze shifted to Luffy, who was looking around and observing Noah's enormous ship. This was their second meeting.
Their first meeting had been in Impel Down, when the elevator opened. After that, he had deliberately avoided Luffy and the others.
First, because of Garp; second, because he did not want that group of okama to contaminate his eyes.
One okama would have been bearable, but a whole group of them was enough to blind someone.
"It's you!"
Only then did Luffy remember that this guy had smiled at him back then.
