"What? The Grand Supreme Kai is dead? How did he die?" Beerus cried out.

"I remember now." Whis patted his head. "That person would be a good candidate for God of Destruction."

"Who?" Beerus asked, taken aback.

"Majin Buu." Whis smiled.

"Majin Buu? I think I've heard of him... Where is he now?" Beerus asked excitedly.

"He should be on a planet called Earth," Whis replied.

"What are we waiting for? Let's get to Earth!" Beerus suggested.

"Wouldn't you like to ask this Supreme Kai first?" Whis asked.

"Good idea." Beerus nodded, then looked at the Supreme Kai. "Hey, kid, I have a question for you.

"What kind of attitude is that? You know he's the Supreme Kai, and you still dare to be so rude!" Kibito rebuked him sternly.

Beerus frowned.

"Whoosh!"

In the blink of an eye, Beerus appeared behind Kibito.

He moved so fast that neither the Supreme Kai nor Kibito could react.

"Thump!"

Beerus lightly tapped Kibito on the back of the neck.

Kibito immediately lost consciousness and crumpled to the ground, fainted.

The Supreme Kai was dumbfounded and immediately braced himself for battle.

"Enough, Supreme Kai. You're no match for me," Beerus said coolly. "I'm not here to fight you. I just want to ask whether there are any exceptionally powerful people among the mortals you've been monitoring."

The Supreme Kai fell silent.

"The Grand Priest is choosing a God of Destruction for the New Universe. If there are any suitable, powerful mortals in our universe, introduce them to me right away," Beerus ordered the Supreme Kai.

The Supreme Kai stared at him blankly.

A brief silence followed.

"Who is the Grand Priest? What New Universe?" the Supreme Kai asked.

Beerus: "..."

Whis: "..."

The two wiped their brows at the same time.

"Has this guy really never even heard of the Grand Priest?" Beerus thought, feeling a headache coming on.

"Apparently not..." Whis sighed.

"The Grand Priest is the greatest god in the Omni-Universe. You don't even know that?" Beerus was so angry that steam seemed to come out of his nose.

"Uh... isn't the greatest god in the Omni-Universe our Supreme Kai?" the Supreme Kai challenged.

Beerus didn't want to say anything.

Whis could only shake his head and sigh.

"Forget it. Let's go," Beerus said, unable to do anything about the Supreme Kai.

Could such an idiotic Supreme Kai really find a suitable mortal?

"All right, Lord Beerus." Whis nodded without objecting.

"Whoosh!"

The two transformed into a brilliant streak of light, like a star, and quickly vanished into the Void.

They had come and gone in a flash.

The Supreme Kai was even more bewildered.

"What incredible speed... Who are they?" The Supreme Kai looked up at where Whis and Beerus had disappeared, his confusion deepening.

Then the Supreme Kai suddenly came to his senses and hurried to check Kibito's injuries.

Fortunately, Kibito wasn't badly hurt.

That was mainly because Beerus hadn't used much force.

If Beerus had really gone all out, Kibito would have been long dead.

As he spoke, the Supreme Kai looked toward Earth again.

Then boundless fury appeared on the Supreme Kai's face.

"What? What are they trying to do!" the Supreme Kai roared in anger.

"What happened, Supreme Kai?" Kibito asked urgently.

"Those two released Majin Buu!" the Supreme Kai said gravely.

"What did you say?" Kibito felt as if the sky had collapsed.

"Those two idiots!" The Supreme Kai trembled with rage. "This is terrible. The entire universe could be facing a huge crisis."

"What do we do, Supreme Kai? Should we go stop them?" Kibito asked anxiously.

"Majin Buu has awakened... There's nothing I can do now." The Supreme Kai was so frightened that his face turned pale.

"Hey, had enough of watching?" Beerus suddenly turned around with a dark expression, looking toward the Supreme Kai. A hint of coldness gleamed in his eyes.

"What?" The Supreme Kai was horrified.

They were incredibly far away.

Yet this cat knew he was watching.

The Supreme Kai shuddered.

"Smack!"

The Supreme Kai reflexively withdrew his gaze.

"What's wrong, Supreme Kai?" Kibito asked urgently.

"That guy knows I'm watching him!" The Supreme Kai's expression changed again and again.

"What? Is that even possible?" Kibito exclaimed.

Just moments ago, with Whis leading the way, Beerus had easily found Majin Buu's seal.

Beerus simply waved his hand, and the seal was undone.

Majin Buu turned into wisps of pink smoke and burst out of the seal.

The next moment, the pink smoke gathered and took shape in midair, forming a fat pink man.
