"Ah? I... my father did indeed die in battle... If he knew of this in the afterlife, he would certainly be happy." Linoshi realized she had misspoken and hurriedly replied with a guilty conscience, her eyes darting around, not daring to look at Reiz.
Reiz did not intend to expose her, merely nodding gently.
Two seconds of silence passed.
Is it only a little bit away from entering the threshold? Reiz felt a surge of excitement in his heart and clenched his fists.
"Yes." Linoshi nodded vigorously, her blue eyes filled with sincerity. "I am very much looking forward to seeing what kind of strength you will reach once you enter the threshold."
Reiz was even more expectant than Linoshi.
What kind of effect would it have once he mastered Ultra Instinct?
"According to the current progress, in another two days, you should be able to enter the threshold," Linoshi gave her answer, analyzing it earnestly.
"Two days..." Reiz murmured in a low voice.
"What are your plans for the next step?" Linoshi asked again, tilting her head to look at him.
"Seven days ago, the Prince said he was going to fight on an alien planet and mentioned taking me along. I plan to go with him to see," Reiz stated his intentions and then asked Linoshi, "What about you? Do you want to come along?"
"Me..." Linoshi was startled, then shook her head shyly, her blue eyes lowering. "I am just a logistics officer with a combat power of only 200... It seems I don't have the qualifications to go with you."
"It doesn't matter. You have me; I believe the Prince will agree," Reiz smiled, his gaze gentle.
You still claim to be a logistics officer with a combat power of 200?
The strength you have displayed has long been seen through by me, alright?
However, Reiz had no intention of pointing it out.
Perhaps this was the life of a trainee Angel undergoing training.
If she didn't say it herself, exposing her identity might interfere with her training.
"Then... then alright." Linoshi hesitated for a moment, nodded gently, and a faint blush appeared on her face.
"Right, let me contact the Prince first... I don't know if he has left in these past few days," Reiz said, immediately taking out his Scouter and placing it over his eye.
The cold touch of the Scouter pressed against his eye socket, and he skillfully adjusted its position.
Following that, Reiz pressed a button on the Scouter and began to call Vegeta.
"Beep! Beep!"
After a few soft sounds, the communication connected.
"Hey, Reiz, you guy, where have you been these past few days?" Vegeta's voice came through the Scouter, carrying a hint of dissatisfaction as he let out a cold snort.
"I had some things to take care of these past few days, but I'm finally finished now," Reiz smiled slightly and answered simply.
"Hmph, I've been waiting for you, hurry up and come over! Come to the Spaceship Launch Center!" Vegeta huffed, his voice filled with obvious impatience.
"Understood, I'll be there immediately," Reiz agreed.
The call ended there.
Reiz removed the Scouter and turned to look at Linoshi beside him.
The sunlight spilled onto her, casting a soft halo over her beautiful face.
"Let's go, Linoshi," Reiz called out to her.
"Is it really okay?" Linoshi was still a bit embarrassed, her blue eyes lowered, her fingers subconsciously rubbing the hem of her battle suit.
"If the Prince doesn't want to take you, then I won't go either," Reiz replied decisively, his tone calm but firm.
"Eh? No need, no need, you should go... Actually, it doesn't matter to me," Linoshi waved her hands in a panic, hurriedly responding, a trace of anxiety appearing on her face.
"Let's go see first!" Reiz smiled, finding this little Angel increasingly interesting.
Despite her noble status and immense power, she was always so cautious, fearing she might cause trouble for others.
"Alright then." Linoshi nodded slightly and stole another quiet glance at Reiz.
Those blue eyes shimmered with tiny lights, like a lake filled with stars.
Reiz looked toward her as well.
Seeing Reiz's gaze, Linoshi's pretty face flushed red. She hurriedly shifted her eyes away, lowered her head, and the tips of her ears quietly turned pink.
"Let's go!" Reiz said no more and immediately soared into the air.
Linoshi followed closely behind.
This time, when Reiz flew, he did not use his energy, but instead utilized the Divine Power he had just cultivated.
Flying with Divine Power, there wasn't even a trail of light on his body.
The feeling was incredibly wondrous, as if he had transformed into the wind, into light, and into a part of the heavens and earth.
There was no need to exert force, no need to push; with just a thought, his body naturally drifted forward.
Linoshi was the same.
She followed quietly behind Reiz, her posture elegant and composed, like a petal drifting with the wind, or a fairy walking among the clouds.
Her long black hair fluttered gently behind her, and the sunlight filtered through the gaps in her hair, casting a faint halo over her.
Although there was no light flickering on his body, Reiz could clearly feel that his flight speed was at least ten times faster than before.
The earth beneath his feet streaked backward at high speed, turning mountains, rivers, and streams into blurred lines.
Star-Shattering Cliff was soon left behind, replaced by stretches of Saiyan settlements and training grounds.
Divine Power is truly worthy of the name!
It is simply incredible!
Reiz gradually increased his flight speed.
Because he knew very well that Linoshi could definitely keep up.
After all, she was an Apprentice Angel.
Generally speaking, the strength of an Apprentice Angel is second only to a God of Destruction.
Yet, it is far more powerful than the true Ultra Instinct Son Goku unlocked in the original story.
Right... it seems that in the Dragon Ball setting...
Angels are forbidden from fighting.
Once they fight, the Angel will vanish.
In the original plot, the Apprentice Angel Merus vanished precisely because he fought Moro.
It was for this very reason that Son Goku finally unlocked the true Ultra Instinct.
Later, Whis said that the Grand Priest had specially crafted a new body for Merus, allowing him to survive.
However, from that point on, he was no longer an Angel and could only be considered an ordinary person.
As for whether that was the truth, Reiz was not entirely sure.
Is the Angel race really so easily erased?
Just by fighting a Moro, the Angel's halo disappears?
At the very least, Reiz himself did not believe it!
Furthermore, as a true Angel, why would they do such a thing?
On the way to the Spaceship launch base, Reiz combed through the relevant settings of the Angel race once more.
It could be said that the Angel race is almost omnipotent, possessing all kinds of miraculous abilities.
For instance, they can resurrect the dead, instantly manifest a child from a pregnant woman, and possess the ability of Time Rewind, turning back time by three minutes.
Moreover, the Angel race is born with the skill of Ultra Instinct.
With such a powerful race, you are telling me they cannot fight?
Then how is a fight even defined?
Could it be that a friendly spar does not count as a fight?
