"Don't overthink it. It's not dirty at all." Reiz smiled and lowered his hand.
That was exactly the effect he wanted. How could he wash his hands now?
If he washed them now, wouldn't all his efforts just go to waste?
Linoshi fell silent and stared at Reiz strangely, her heart fluttering.
She couldn't understand why he was doing this, but somehow, it made her feel warm inside.
Then Reiz stepped closer and took Linoshi's soft hand.
Linoshi froze again.
You just touched my feet, and now you're holding my hand.
Why does this feel so strange?
But this time, Linoshi didn't resist. She let Reiz hold her hand.
Her hand was soft and slender. As Reiz held it in his palm, its warmth seeped into her skin.
"Let's go out and take a look," Reiz said with a smile.
"C-can I stay here?" Linoshi asked quietly, lowering her blue eyes and not daring to look at him.
"If you don't want to go, then you don't have to." Reiz readily agreed. "Rest here for a while. I'll be right back."
"Mm." Linoshi nodded, mumbling, "Actually... I'm not very good at dealing with strangers..."
Reiz looked at Linoshi in silence.
Thinking back to how she'd acted when she first met Vegeta and the others...
So this little Apprentice Angel was pretty antisocial.
No wonder she'd blushed after saying just a couple of words the first time she met me.
You're an Angel. What could you possibly be embarrassed about?
"I'll massage your feet again when I get back," Reiz whispered in Linoshi's ear, his warm breath brushing against it.
"Okay..." Linoshi nodded, a hint of anticipation appearing in her eyes. Her blue eyes sparkled.
Reiz had just unlocked a new position.
But for Linoshi, hadn't she also discovered a new sensation?
She'd never known that having her feet massaged could feel so good.
Especially when the person massaging them was so handsome.
And he didn't mind at all!
Watching Reiz walk away, Linoshi's heart surged. She was excited and eager, with a restless itch she couldn't quite explain.
She sat back down on the little bed, cupped her flushed cheeks in both hands, and gazed ahead with stars in her blue eyes.
He really is so gentle...
Does he think I'm strange?
But he seemed to like it...
Linoshi's thoughts ran wild, and yet the corners of her mouth lifted without her meaning to.
Reiz soon reached the hall.
Located at the front of the spaceship, the hall was a little wider than the corridors. A few small portholes lined its walls, offering a view of the stars outside.
Several ceiling lights cast a soft glow.
Vegeta and the others had already gathered there.
Vegeta stood at the front with his arms crossed, his small frame ramrod straight and his chin tilted up in a haughty pose.
Nappa and Raditz stood behind him on either side, while Carnegie, Kuri, and Baru stood a little farther away.
"Prince Vegeta, what is it?" Reiz asked directly as he walked up to him.
"Nothing major. We're just splitting into combat teams for our trip to Beast Planet." Vegeta crossed his arms and struck a pose, speaking coolly.
Reiz nodded slightly, waiting for him to continue.
"According to the information from the Frieza Force, Beast Planet has at least two monsters with a Combat Power of over 10,000." Vegeta's face turned serious. "Reiz and I will deal with those two. The rest of you can split up and handle the smaller ones however you like!"
"Then Carnegie and I will team up," Nappa suggested, glancing at Carnegie.
Carnegie nodded in agreement.
"Prince Vegeta, the three of us should team up." Raditz pointed to Kuri and Baru as he spoke to Vegeta.
"Then it's settled." Vegeta nodded in approval.
"How long until we reach Beast Planet?" Reiz asked.
"Seven days," Baru answered. He was in charge of checking the navigation data.
"Seven days?" The corners of Reiz's mouth lifted into a faint smile.
That meant... I could spend seven days alone with Linoshi.
In such a cramped space...
No, wait! I can't!
What am I thinking?
Since fate had made me a Saiyan...
And brought me together with a beautiful Apprentice Angel...
I should focus on training, not on all that weird stuff.
I needed to get stronger first!
Without strength, I still thought I could lay a hand on an Angel?
The Grand Priest would beat me until I didn't know which way was up!
I had to get stronger!
Reiz took a deep breath and clenched his fists, his eyes growing resolute.
"Reiz, since we've got nothing else to do, want to spar in the Training Room?" Vegeta pointed toward the room inside the spaceship and smiled at Reiz, his eyes gleaming with a desire to fight.
"Sure, no problem." Reiz's heart stirred. He nodded lightly in agreement.
He wanted to test out the Divine Power he'd just cultivated, too.
See how strong it was!
When Vegeta heard Reiz agree, a satisfied smile appeared on his face. He turned and headed for the Training Room.
Reiz followed, and Nappa, Raditz, and the others eagerly tagged along.
The Training Room.
It was in the middle-rear section of the spaceship, and its door was much wider than those of ordinary rooms.
When they pushed it open, they found a spacious area inside.
It was quite large, with a circular layout.
The room was about ten meters across.
That meant it had an area of nearly 78 square meters.
Most of the spaceship's space had been taken up by this Training Room.
Its ceiling was twice as high as those in ordinary rooms. Energy-absorption devices lined the walls, ready to absorb energy released during battle and protect the ship's structure.
The floor was made of a special alloy—hard yet springy, able to withstand powerful impacts.
Several high-powered lights illuminated the entire space until it was bright as day.
But thinking about it, that made perfect sense.
Saiyans were a warrior race. They were either fighting or on their way to a fight.
Sleep wasn't all that important to them.
That was why the sleeping quarters on this spaceship were so small.
But training was essential!
Only by constantly honing themselves could they raise their Combat Power.
Reiz and Vegeta stood in the center of the Training Room, facing each other.
Vegeta was small, but he radiated an imposing presence.
He stood with his arms crossed, chin tilted up, and a confident smile on his lips.
Nappa, Raditz, Carnegie, and the others stood in the viewing area along the edge of the Training Room, watching with excitement.
These were two powerhouses with Combat Power over 10,000!
Getting to watch them spar would surely be a valuable experience.
"Reiz, let's begin." Vegeta crossed his arms and smiled, his eyes gleaming with a love of battle.
Before you continue
