"Whoops!"
The moment the words fell, Shenron's body suddenly disintegrated in the dark golden light, turning into a dazzling golden stream of light and rushing high into the sky.
That light exploded at the end of the sky, split into seven thinner beams, and flew in seven different directions with long tails, disappearing in every corner of the skyline in the blink of an eye.
The sky regained its brightness.
The overwhelming darkness just now seemed to have never existed, and the afterglow of the setting sun shone on the earth again, making the dewdrops on the grass blades shine brightly.
The seven Dragon Balls on the grass have disappeared, leaving only seven shallow round pits.
"Ah? Is this successful?" Gine stood there, his eyes still fixed in the direction where Shenron disappeared, with an expression on his face that was a mixture of surprise and doubt.
She put her hands down, looked back and forth at the two empty round pits, and then raised her head.
"Shenron said that Raditz has been resurrected, is it true?"
"Since Shenron said that Raditz has been resurrected, there is absolutely no problem." Son Goku grinned and rubbed his hands, with a calm look in his eyes, "Shenron always keeps his word and will not lie."
"Where is the Raditz man? Shouldn't he appear in front of us?" Gine looked around, turning left and right, scanning the surrounding wilderness and the tree line in the distance.
"He died on Planet Vegeta, right?" Son Goku turned his head and looked at her, "If that's the case, he should have been resurrected on Planet Vegeta."
"Let's go back quickly!" Gine looked away and unconsciously clenched the corners of his clothes with his hands.
"Okay." Son Goku nodded, raised his right hand, and put his index and middle fingers together between his eyebrows.
But before casting Instant Transmission, his movements suddenly paused, his fingertips stopped on his eyebrows, and his brows frowned slightly.
"What's wrong with you, Kakarot? Is there anything else?" Gine keenly captured his momentary pause and asked with concern.
"Mom, I plan to go see my grandpa." Son Goku put down his hand, turned around and looked at Gine, with a hint of serious consideration in his eyes, "I'll send you back to Planet Vegeta first, and then I'll come back."
"Okay." Gine didn't ask any more questions, simply nodded and stretched out his hand to put on his shoulder.
"Whoosh!"
The field of vision compressed and expanded again.
The ground beneath my feet has been replaced by the familiar layer of dark red sandstone from Planet Vegeta, and the dry wind in the air is blowing towards my face with fine dust.
The crooked-neck tree at the corner of the street is still in place, with several scratches left by an unknown Saiyan child carved on its bark.
"Mom, please go home first. Raditz should be home already, right?" Son Goku put down his hand and curled his lips at Gine.
"Okay, you should go home early." Gine squatted down, stretched out his hand and gently rubbed his head, and rested his palm in his hair for two seconds before taking it back.
Son Goku grinned and placed his right hand between his eyebrows again.
"Whoosh!"
The field of view switched again, and this time the touch from under the feet became soft and moist.
There was a familiar smell of vegetation in the air, mixed with the crisp sound of distant streams flowing over rocks.
Mount Paozu.
Son Goku stood in front of the familiar cabin. There was an old man with gray hair sitting on the stone steps in front of the house. He was hunched over, with his hands on his knees, and his eyes were fixed on the forest in the distance, with a layer of weariness hanging on his face.
Grandpa Gohan has been feeling a little depressed during this period, and he himself can't explain why.
After the child named Son Goku left, the yard suddenly became too quiet. When I came back from hunting every day and opened the wooden door, no one in the house shouted for grandpa anymore.
He sat on the stone bench at the door, looked up at the sky, his expression was gloomy, and he didn't even bother to move his fingers.
"Grandpa, I'm here."
Son Goku had quietly appeared two meters behind Grandpa Gohan, with his hands on his hips and a smile on his back.
Grandpa Gohan's shoulders suddenly tensed up.
His whole body seemed to be lit up from the inside by something, and he turned his head suddenly, his eyes falling on the face of the black-haired boy behind him, his pupils slightly dilated.
He opened his mouth, blinked hard twice, stretched out his hand and waved it in front of his eyes.
"Am I dreaming?"
"It's me, grandpa, I'm Goku." Son Goku took two steps forward, curved the corners of his mouth, and smiled exactly like before.
Grandpa Gohan's Adam's apple rolled up and down, and his eye sockets instantly turned red.
He suddenly jumped up from the stone bench, rushed to Son Goku in three steps at a time, bent down, stretched out two rough hands, picked him up, and raised him high above his head.
"Goku, it's really you!" Grandpa Gohan's voice was hoarse and trembling. He held him up and turned around in place, then carefully put him down. He held his shoulders with both hands and looked at him carefully from top to bottom. "What did you do? Where are your injuries? Didn't I remember that you fell very hard?"
"It's a long story..." Son Goku scratched his head, kicked the pebbles under his feet, and rolled away far away. He thought about it and took a deep breath, "Well, grandpa, actually I am not the Goku I am now..."
Grandpa Gohan's expression froze for a moment, but his hand was still on his shoulder.
"What do you mean? What do you mean you are not the Goku you are now?"
He frowned, his eyes swept back and forth on Son Goku's face a few times, and then his voice dropped.
"Wait a minute... when did you become so fluent in speaking? You were not very good at speaking before. Who are you? Get out of Goku's body quickly!"
"Grandpa is really amazing, you can see that." Son Goku, instead of panicking, grinned even wider, with a hint of emotion in his tone, "Actually, I am Goku who came from more than fifty years later, and I just happened to be integrated with this body."
Grandpa Gohan's movements froze.
He maintained his bent posture and stared at Son Goku's childish face without blinking, as if he was trying to discern something deeper beneath that child's face.
Later, Son Goku did not hide it, but told Grandpa Gohan everything that happened to him from beginning to end.
From the moment he was sent to the earth, to being picked up by this old man, to the fall on the mountain and hitting his head, to how the adult soul entered this body, every detail was not skipped.
That night, Son Goku stayed and had a meal with Grandpa Gohan.
On the table were two bowls of hot porridge and a plate of fried wild vegetables, simple but steaming.
The two of them sat across from each other, their chopsticks clattering against the rim of the bowl.
While Son Goku was eating, he talked about everything he could about his past life experiences. He made two gestures when he got to the key points. Grandpa Gohan put down his chopsticks from time to time, and was stunned for a while.
