Vegeta could feel that he was badly injured and on the verge of death.

Linoshi seemed to know what Reiz was planning. In a flash, she vanished from where she stood.
In the blink of an eye, Linoshi appeared beside Reiz, moving lightly and soundlessly.
Seeing how fast Linoshi was, Cui's eyes widened again, and he couldn't help rubbing them.

"Just cover Prince Vegeta with your energy, and you can heal his injuries," Linoshi explained to Reiz. Her voice was gentle, and her blue eyes focused intently on him.
"Is it really that simple?" Reiz paused, a little surprised.
"Yep, it really is that simple." Linoshi nodded lightly, a tender smile playing on her lips.
"Then I'll give it a try." Reiz took a deep breath, and Starlight immediately blazed around him.
Silvery-white light surged from within him and swirled around his body, illuminating the surrounding area.
The light was sacred and profound, as if the entire starry sky had gathered around him.
The next moment, a ball of Starlight formed in Reiz's hand, and he was about to cover Vegeta with it.
"Y-you... what are you doing?" Vegeta was startled, his expression changing again and again as his eyes filled with fear.
As for Linoshi's explanation to Reiz about healing him, Vegeta hadn't heard a word of it. The wind was too strong, and his head was still ringing.
All he knew was that Reiz had slapped him into the ground, and now he was gathering some strange light. He had no idea what Reiz was going to do to him.
"Wait..." Linoshi hurriedly stopped him, then added, "As you release your energy, silently repeat 'Healing.'"
"Uh..." Reiz scratched his head and did as Linoshi had said.
"Thud!"
Reiz gave the ground a light stomp.
With a muffled thump, Vegeta was jolted out of the earth and launched into the air.
"Pfft—"
Vegeta shot high into the air and spat out another large mouthful of blood, which traced an arc through the sky.
His eyes rolled back as his insides seemed to churn.
"Reiz! You bastard! I... I was wrong about you!" Vegeta ground his teeth, his whole body trembling violently with anger and resentment.
"Whoosh!"
Reiz swept his hand through the air, sending the brilliant Starlight he had gathered toward Vegeta.
As the Starlight covered him, Reiz silently repeated the word "Healing."
"Smack!"
In an instant, the Starlight enveloped Vegeta, wrapping around his entire body.
The silvery-white light was soft and warm, surrounding Vegeta like a thin veil.
The Starlight rapidly healed Vegeta's injured body.
His broken bones knitted back together, his damaged organs began to heal, and his wounds closed at a visible speed.
In less than three seconds, Vegeta's injuries were completely healed.
Not only that, but Vegeta's stamina had returned to its peak. He even felt more energized than before.
The Starlight faded, leaving Vegeta floating in midair. He stared blankly as he felt his body restored, a hint of surprise on his face.
He moved his limbs, touched his chest, then clenched his fists. Everything was as good as new, and he even felt stronger than before.
At that moment, Vegeta finally understood what had happened.
"Reiz... you... you can heal? When did you learn how?" Vegeta was both shocked and delighted, his eyes wide.
"I just learned, so I used you for an experiment. Good thing it worked." Reiz smiled as the Starlight slowly faded from his body.
Vegeta: "..."
Vegeta's face darkened.
So if it hadn't worked, you would've healed me to death?
Can't you be a little more reliable?
His mouth twitched. He wanted to say something, but found himself at a loss for words.
"Not bad, not bad. Vegeta, your Combat Power has increased. It should be around 20,000 now." Reiz silently gauged Vegeta's energy and gave him his Combat Power reading.
"Combat Power of 20,000!" Vegeta froze for a moment, then broke into a radiant smile, nearly jumping with excitement.
From 15,000 to 20,000—a full increase of 5,000!
"Go on! Finish the fight quickly! There's no need to waste so much time on this guy!" Reiz ordered Vegeta, his tone calm.
"Three seconds! That's all I'll need to finish him!" Vegeta snorted, grinning smugly, his eyes full of confidence.
"Y-you said what? Combat Power of 20,000!" Cui froze, unable to process it. The color drained from his face.
"Cui, you probably don't know this, do you?" Vegeta said with a smile, floating in midair and looking down at him. "When we Saiyans recover from the brink of death, our Combat Power increases dramatically! That's what makes us Saiyans so terrifying!"
"Th-that's impossible!" Cui cried in shock, his body trembling. "How could Reiz know the Healing Technique, and how could he heal you in an instant?"
"Save that question for the afterlife!" Vegeta scoffed, his body shining with dazzling light.
"Whoosh!"
Vegeta turned into a streak of light and shot toward Cui.
His speed was astonishing. He left a blur in the air as shock waves billowed to either side.
"Th-this is bad!" Cui was terrified, his face instantly turning as white as paper.
When he heard that Vegeta's Combat Power had reached 20,000, Cui was even more scared out of his wits. His legs went weak.
After all, Cui's Combat Power was only 16,000!
Vegeta's Combat Power was now 4,000 higher than his!
This was going to get him killed!
Cui turned to run, only to find that his body wouldn't obey him.
Vegeta was incredibly fast. In the blink of an eye, he had reached Cui.
"W-wait!" Cui's expression changed again and again as he hurriedly cried out, raising both hands in surrender.
Vegeta ignored him and kicked him hard.
"Bang!"
The kick landed squarely in Cui's abdomen with tremendous force.
Cui shot into the sky like a soccer ball, his body bent like a shrimp as blood sprayed from his mouth.
Vegeta pressed his right index and middle fingers together and pointed them at Cui from a distance.
"Ah—!"
Cui let out a scream as his body instantly exploded into pieces, his flesh and blood bursting through the air like a ghastly blood flower.
Blood drifted down from the sky, staining the ground below.
Cui was dead.
Vegeta, with a Combat Power of 20,000, had killed him with ease!
