"A little snack won't fill you up. I'll make you some barbecue!" Reiz smiled, showing a row of white teeth.
"Barbecue?" Linoshi blinked her blue eyes, looking a little confused.
"Just wait here!" Reiz said, then immediately shot into the air.

His figure became a streak of light and quickly vanished into the deepening night.
Linoshi stood where she was, gazing in the direction he had disappeared for a long time without moving.
The evening breeze stirred her hair, brushing it gently against her cheek.
About ten minutes later,
a streak of light crossed the horizon and rapidly drew closer.
Reiz had returned, carrying a small animal that looked like a goat.
Its four legs hung limply. It was clearly dead.
It was twice the size of a regular goat, enough to give two people a hearty meal.

Reiz landed and tossed his prey onto a flat rock.

He found a sturdy branch and threaded it through the goat's mouth and out through its rear, skewering the whole animal.
Next, Reiz gathered some dry twigs and piled them into a simple campfire, then set the skewered goat over the flames.
"Is that... a Unicorn Goat?" Linoshi moved a little closer and looked at the skinned animal. At last, she couldn't help murmuring, "I don't think this animal's meat tastes very good."
There was a hint of doubt in her voice, but she was mostly curious.
Reiz ignored her and focused on turning the branch, letting the flames lick the meat evenly.
The flames danced in the night, lighting up the area for several meters around them.
Fat dripped onto the coals with a sizzle, sending tiny sparks flying.
When the goat was nearly done, Reiz took a small homemade pouch from his pocket, opened it, and evenly sprinkled the seasonings inside over the meat.

Originally, Reiz had planned to use barbecue to draw Whis and Beerus to him.

Then Linoshi took another small bite and savored it.

Reiz smiled with satisfaction.
He had to admit, Linoshi looked incredibly cute eating goat meat.
She ate carefully, taking one small bite at a time. Her cheeks puffed as she chewed, and now and then she even sucked the grease from her fingers. Her blue eyes were filled with contentment.
The firelight fell on her face, lending her lovely features the warm glow of everyday life.
The two of them quickly polished off the whole roast goat.
Only a pile of gnawed-clean bones remained on the ground. They hadn't left a single scrap of meat.
Linoshi licked her lips, looking as though she hadn't had quite enough. Her blue eyes turned pleadingly toward the empty branch, then toward Reiz. She seemed to want more but felt too embarrassed to ask.
"Want another one?" Reiz asked with a smile.
"Mm... y-yes, please." Linoshi nodded vigorously, her face breaking into a radiant smile. She quickly added, "Thank you!"
"You don't have to be so polite with me! Wait here a moment. I'll be right back!" Reiz said, then vanished in a blur.
A streak of light flashed across the night sky and disappeared in an instant.
Linoshi stood where she was, gazing in the direction he had gone, a satisfied smile still on her lips.
She looked down at her greasy fingers and hesitated, but in the end she couldn't resist putting them in her mouth and sucking them clean.
Before long, Reiz returned with another goat.
He followed the same routine.
He removed the hair and skin, then set it over the fire to roast.
The flames danced in the night, crackling as they burned.
