Background

Senju Tobirama was the Second Hokage of Konohagakure and the creator of the forbidden Impure World Reincarnation technique. He selected Sarutobi Hiruzen as his successor, but later learns that Hiruzen's era ended with the Senju Clan's destruction through war and Wood Release experiments. The revelation that the Sarutobi Clan had grown into a force of nearly three thousand shinobi intensifies his anger toward his former student. 62 63

Orochimaru summons Tobirama through Impure World Reincarnation to fight Uchiha Fugaku.
