"To receive such praise, Grandpa must be very happy."

Tighnari patted Sethos on the shoulder and smiled at him.

"I'm sure he is!"

Sethos and Cyno had both lived through those events. Now that they were looking back on them as bystanders, they felt differently about them.

"That incident? I can still vaguely remember some of the pain from the Ba-Ling experiment. But I never blamed anyone. Meeting my teacher was probably the luckiest thing that ever happened to me."

Anyone who gained a god's power would surely keep a tight hold on it. Why would they ever give it away?
