At last, it's finished. July is feeling rather emotional too.
The book was released in March last year, and formal updates only began in April. Nearly two years, 4.6 million characters—my updates weren't particularly fast, but they weren't too slow either. With July's pathetic typing speed, being able to manage this much is satisfying enough, though I really envy those tentacle monsters who can type several thousand words an hour. ←_←
When I first started writing Great Villain System, its results were terrible. On its first day of premium release, it had just over 600 average subscriptions. In webnovel terms, it was a complete flop. But July had expected that, because Qidian's wuxia novels hadn't been doing particularly well at the time. More than 600 average subscriptions was already enough to rank in the top ten among Qidian's wuxia novels then.
Back then, July didn't think too much about it. Having read wuxia and webnovels for over a decade, I always wanted to write something. Whether the results were good or bad, at least it would prove that I had been here, wouldn't it? July was even secretly delighted by those 600-plus average subscriptions when the book went premium. At least it hadn't been written for nothing, and I could earn a little pocket money outside of work.
Unexpectedly, after it went premium, Great Villain System's results kept climbing, and its average subscriptions surged more than tenfold. On the wuxia sales rankings, Great Villain System held first place for 300 out of 365 days in a year, and it even entered the overall top ten. I truly have to thank everyone for that. Really, aside from thanks, July honestly can't think of anything else to say.
Of course, those were the good things. There were bad things too. Great Villain
