The most troublesome part of the Northwest Circuit was its local alien tribes and martial arts factions.
The Northwest Circuit covered a vast area, even larger than the Western Frontier. It was home to all kinds of alien tribes and martial arts factions, large and small, and the ancestors of those Northwest Alien Tribes had quite a history.
Back when the First Dynasty held the world in its grip, both the northern grasslands of today and the Thirty-Six Western Regions Kingdoms had been forced to submit. Those who refused had only one fate: their clans were wiped out.
The Northwest Alien Tribes were descendants of the small kingdoms destroyed during the First Dynasty.
In those days, the Northwest Circuit had been a bitterly cold, barren land. Even the First Dynasty had been too lazy to govern it, so the descendants of those small kingdoms had put down roots there and multiplied, continuing to this day.
They were neither people of the Central Plains nor subjects of the Golden Tent Khanate, much less members of the Thirty-Six Western Regions Kingdoms. Though their features resembled those of people from the Central Plains and the Golden Tent Khanate, each alien tribe had its own martial traditions and customs, leaving them at odds with both the Central Plains dynasties and the Golden Tent Khanate.
