Shocked to Hear of Martial Arts Master Huang Yi's Passing

Upon suddenly hearing the news of Mr. Huang Yi's passing, I initially thought it was an April Fool's joke. Only later did I realize that April Fool's Day had already passed—Mr. Huang Yi had truly gone.

The five great martial arts masters—Jin, Gu, Liang, Wen, and Huang—left behind many breathtaking works for those who came after. Mr. Huang Yi, in particular, gave martial arts fiction wings that could fly into the distance. I still remember the astounding imagination I felt when I first read Breaking the Void—martial arts could be written with greater depth and reach farther still.

The departed are gone. May Mr. Huang Yi rest well on his final journey. A moment of silence.
