After police questioned him and the public learned his identity, George invited him to discuss a Police Special Advisor position, just as an unfamiliar caller interrupted his journey to dinner.

Arc 2The Blood God’s Arrival

Bai Ye hunted underworld leaders while intensifying his training and recruiting Kelly Camilla to help him endure increasingly severe punishment. When Deacon’s ritual unleashed a vampire horde, Bai Ye destroyed it and emerged into public attention, then agreed to back Kingpin’s mayoral campaign for a price.

  • Bai Ye killed Brown Roderick and other gang figures, then disfigured himself with sulfuric acid to hide his identity as he pursued Li Shu.
  • Bai Ye killed Li Shu and recruited Peter Parker and Smith to help with his training, while teaching Smith the Purple Mist Divine Skill.

As Kingpin prepared to launch Bai Ye’s cultivation book, influential figures gathered for a press conference promising a path to immortality.

  • Bai Ye persuaded Kingpin that releasing the Purple Mist Divine Skill could win public support and generate huge profits, then arranged for Kingpin to publicize the manual and provide training resources.
