Background / History
Tang San monitored Douluo Planet from the God Realm and regarded its “Child of Destiny” as a chess piece. He intended to bring the planet fully under his control, surrounding it with a divine barrier that prevented unauthorized gods from observing it. When the Qilin God King’s inheritance trial emerged, Tang San attempted to suppress it but failed. 63
Seeing Xia Ming as both an uncontrollable variable and a potential future God King, Tang San attempted to bind him to his own interests through Wang Dong’er. He arranged for his daughter to enter Shrek Academy disguised as a boy, intending for her to gain Xia Ming’s affection and become a means of controlling him. After Xia Ming exposed the disguise, Tang San implanted the concept of Self Martial Soul Fusion into Wang Dong’er’s mind to give her a reason to seek Xia Ming out. 113
Tang San later tried to force a Martial Soul Fusion resonance between Xia Ming and Wang Dong’er. The Qilin God King intercepted and devoured the projected divine power, then discovered that Wang Dong’er’s soul had been torn apart and stitched together by Tang San. 118 119 120
After abandoning covert persuasion, Tang San used the identity of the “Holy Emperor” to contact Ye Xishui and manipulated her through a partial Rakshasa God inheritance. He controlled the content of her trials and granted her enough Rakshasa divine power to strengthen her body and divine artifact. 120 121
His interference in the lower realm and misuse of the God Realm Hub were eventually exposed. The God of Destruction defeated him, stripped him of control over the Hub, and sentenced him to ten thousand years in the Forbidden God Land; Xiao Wu chose to accompany him. 139
Personality
Tang San is calculating, possessive, and intensely concerned with control. He treated Xia Ming’s potential as a resource to be captured, planned to use Wang Dong’er as leverage, and considered anyone beyond his influence a threat to be eliminated. 63 113 120
He carefully maintained an image of a selfless and righteous God King, but repeatedly acted through deception, coercion, and indirect manipulation. His reputation was particularly important to him; after Wang Dong’er exposed his treatment of her soul, the rejection of the other gods drove him into despair and madness. 121 270
Despite his ruthlessness, Tang San showed attachment to certain allies. He shielded Ning Rongrong from Xia Ming’s attack while attempting to escape, but later abandoned her as a shield when his own survival was at stake. 262 264
Abilities & Powers
Sea God and Asura God Positions
Tang San held both the Sea God and Asura God Positions. The Sea God Position had higher compatibility with him, while the Asura God Position gave him access to God King-level combat power. 139 261
- Could switch from Sea God divine power to Asura divine power in battle. 139
- Wielded the Asura Blood Sword, a giant scarlet divine sword formed from his killing intent and divine power. 139
- Released blood-colored Asura sword light capable of tearing open fissures in God Realm space. 261
- His compatibility with the Asura God Position was imperfect; his cultivation had only barely crossed into the God King realm. 261
Divine Interference
Tang San could project divine power and consciousness across the boundary between the God Realm and Douluo Planet.
- Enclosed Douluo Planet within a divine barrier to obstruct other gods’ observation. 63
- Attempted to suppress the Qilin God King’s inheritance trial. 63
- Implanted mental suggestions into Wang Dong’er, including the fabricated idea of Self Martial Soul Fusion. 113

- His projected divine consciousness could be devoured by the Qilin God King’s remnant soul. 120
Rakshasa God Trial Manipulation
Tang San possessed refined fragments of the Rakshasa God Position left after Bibi Dong’s death and used them as an instrument of control rather than a complete inheritance. 121
- Contacted Ye Xishui under the title of the “Holy Emperor.” 120
- Controlled the contents of the first eight Rakshasa God Trials. 121
- Granted Ye Xishui divine power to temper her body and divine artifact during the seventh trial. 121
Relationships

Story Role / Major Arcs
Qilin God King Inheritance

Manipulation of Wang Dong’er

Conflict with the Qilin God King
Tang San’s attempt to force a fusion resonance exposed his involvement in Wang Dong’er’s soul. The Qilin God King broke through Tang San’s divine barrier, discovered the damage to her soul, and devoured Tang San’s projected consciousness. 118 119 120
Imprisonment in the Forbidden God Land
The God Realm turned against Tang San after evidence emerged of his lower-realm interference and misuse of the God Realm Hub. He was defeated by the God of Destruction and imprisoned for ten thousand years. 139
Alliance with the Golden Dragon King

Final Battle with Xia Ming
Tang San attacked Xia Ming with the Asura God Position but was gradually overwhelmed as Xia Ming stabilized his newly ascended power. Tang San fled toward the Golden Dragon King’s battlefield, sacrificed Ning Rongrong’s safety to prolong his escape, and lost the support of the other God Kings. 261 262 264 266
Exposure and Death
Wang Dong’er revealed Tang San’s destruction of her soul to the God Realm. With his reputation destroyed and Xiao Wu dead, Tang San descended into madness. Xia Ming then killed him with a single palm strike, erasing both his divine body and soul. 270 271 272
