In the underground base, the survivors watching this scene were all struck speechless.
They had records of the strange bird as a powerful life-form in the vicinity. Though it was somewhat weaker than Candle Dragon, the gap was not great. More importantly, the bird could fly; soaring through the skies gave it a natural advantage.
Yet such a monster had been killed in an instant.
What left everyone speechless was not that power, but that terrifying rate of evolution.
It was too fast.
At the same time, the silver flesh that devoured everything made them ponder what, exactly, that terrifying rat on the surface was.
There was no shortage of monsters in this world now. The surface was full of them, and even underground, massive beasts existed in certain places. But the one above was practically a monster among monsters.
Zhao Cheng, however, had no idea what the survivors were thinking. All his Attribute Points were currently invested in Strength. Rather than extending his mental power outward, he turned it all inward, compressing and constricting his electric field to the utmost, suppressing his cells in pursuit of greater strength and greater dominance.
Under such circumstances, his outward perception was naturally weakened.
Of course, even if it had not been weakened, these survivors had been able to observe the surface for so many years without ever being discovered. Their technological capabilities certainly could not be lacking.
But even if Zhao Cheng had known, he would not have cared. Right now, he was only interested in things that could make him stronger.
The survivors might indeed possess some good things, but those things absolutely could not compare to how quickly he could grow by fighting, fighting, fighting; eating, eating, eating; and evolving all the way.
