My original intention in writing this arc was to tell a different kind of interesting story. When I read books, I feel that once a story falls into the vicious cycle of endlessly fighting monsters and leveling up, it starts to become dull.
And so this arc came to be.

That is roughly the main tone of this arc.
There are not too many elements of Gods and Devils vying for supremacy; it is more a story about people.
But in the end, even an emperor's grand design and mighty dominion are nothing more than white-haired fishermen and woodcutters upon the river islets, long accustomed to watching autumn moons and spring breezes. How many events of ancient and modern times have all been consigned to laughing conversation...
So when the story of people ends, one must ultimately return to the pursuit of the Dao—to the exploration of life, cultivation, and the self. An emperor's grand design and mighty dominion are merely a stretch of scenery on life's road, not its entirety. The future will still continue to unfold ahead.
