Five pillars of light descended from Heaven to earth. Not only Eternal Garden—even on the far side of the planet, the five sky-piercing pillars that seemed to pierce through spacetime, through causality and reincarnation, could be seen clearly.
Whether mortals or the powerful, before these five pillars reaching into Heaven, there was no difference. All of them trembled from instinct, from the depths of their souls.
Everyone, no matter what they had been doing, stopped at that moment. They shouted and knelt in worship, as if only by doing so could they drive away the fear and unease in their hearts.
Across the earth, vehicles crashed into one another in chain collisions, and explosions rang out without end. It was not only humans—at that moment, even the animals fell into madness.
Demon Gods—these were Demon Gods!
Even the faintest trace of their aura was enough to throw the world into immense turmoil.
More than that, it seemed that a voice vaguely rang out in everyone's heart: the Demon Gods had descended.
But before anyone could form further thoughts, a sixth pillar of light suddenly appeared beyond the five.
This pillar was different from the other five. Its glow was not nearly as brilliant, yet the feeling it gave was entirely different.
It felt loftier, more distant.
The Demon Gods' pillars were like streetlamps by the roadside—tall and bright—while the newly emerged sixth pillar was like a distant star. Because it was distant, it was not so dazzling, but everyone knew that streetlamps and stars were not the same.
At that moment, many people's minds went utterly blank. The supreme Demon Gods were merely lamplight—then what kind of magnificent thing was this star?
Yet those most shaken were the surviving ability users within the ritual. They were the closest, and could
