Wishing all my fellow readers a happy new year, good fortune in the Year of the Horse, and good health!
By the way, there will probably only be one update a day for a while.
First, the author's health has been acting up again—it's an old problem. I went to see the doctor again just a couple of days ago and am currently receiving treatment.
Second, work and life have both been incredibly busy this month, and I truly have limited time.
With those two reasons combined, plus forcing myself to write ten thousand words a day while on sick leave before I had properly recovered, my energy simply can't keep up anymore.
Earlier, I saw some readers asking for extra updates during the Spring Festival holiday, and I actually laughed.
Spring Festival holiday? What's that?
This year, I only have the third day of the Spring Festival off. This chapter was secretly typed out while I was on duty at the company.
A chapter??
My job doesn't distinguish between holidays and regular days. I rotate days off, and holidays are usually busy, so I'm used to it.
Of course, the leadership this year is especially inhumane, but there's nothing I can do. I have to eat, after all.
All things considered, things have been a bit lacking lately, so I'd like to apologize to everyone here.
After the holiday, things will enter a relatively calmer period. Around the end of this month or the beginning of next, work and life should return to a regular rhythm.
If my health has also recovered by then, I'll gradually get back on track.
Once again, I wish everyone good fortune in the new year—may you have everything except illness, and lack everything except money!
Happy Year of the Horse~
(And yeah)
