Cai Yue'er, who fawned over Yun Ming, knocked on his door again that morning. When she found he was not in his room, panic seized her. Her woman's intuition told her something had definitely happened to him.
Cai Yue'er immediately went to tell the dean. Dean Lin knew that the Sea God Pavilion Master wanted to take Yun Ming as his disciple, though for now he was only overseeing him as a disciple in name.
It was already set in stone that Yun Ming would become the Pavilion Master's personal disciple. Dean Lin wasted no time assigning every student and teacher to search Shrek City for him.
Word also reached Elder Bei, the Sea God Pavilion Master. How could he not worry about the young man he intended to take as his personal disciple?
He went out to search in person. His spiritual power quickly locked onto Yun Ming's location and led him to an alley. When he saw Yun Ming's miserable state, his face turned ashen.
