The Fourth Raikage's "Chakra Activation" had already been copied by the system, and Mingyou possessed Lightning Release.

That meant Mingyou would now be able to use that ability to coat his body in lightning.

However, now that he was accustomed to Kamui, using Lightning Release Chakra to strengthen his cells was no longer enough to catch Mingyou's eye.

The Fourth Raikage smashed through the wooden outer wall and charged straight out of the hall.

The moment the Fourth Raikage landed, his feet crushed the bluestone paving slabs beneath him, blasting out a massive crater.

He stood there with flames seemingly blazing in his eyes, glaring at Mingyou as though he wanted to devour him alive.

Soon, all the water in the hall drained away. After several leaps, Darui landed beside the Fourth Raikage.

"Darui." The Fourth Raikage did not attack immediately and merely stood still.

Darui glanced at the Raikage. Seeing that he said nothing, he seemed to understand something.

"Understood."

Darui bowed in acknowledgment, then leaped away.

Is he going to call for reinforcements? Mingyou muttered inwardly, but he neither stopped him nor fled. A woman was walking over from the corridor not far away.

"Lord Fourth Raikage, what is going on here?"

A slightly mature female voice rang out. Mei Terumi, dressed in a short blue skirt, slowly walked out from the side and stopped not far from Mingyou.

Her beautiful eyes swept over the damaged surroundings, then she looked at Mingyou and the Fourth Raikage facing one another, as though she understood something.

Since Mei Terumi had arrived, Mingyou wanted to tell her all about the Fourth Raikage's glorious deeds, so that everyone in the ninja world would know just how deep his scheming truly was.

"Hmph! Uchiha Mingyou has not only been arrogant and rude, he even dared insult me. Today, I must take him down."

The Fourth Raikage's rage had yet to subside, and his voice was as piercing as thunder.

The Land of Lightning ninjas who had rushed over all revealed shocked expressions.

To anger the Fourth Raikage to this extent, it seemed this fellow called Uchiha Mingyou was certainly doomed today.

The Fourth Kazekage Rasa arrived next. Like Mei Terumi, he chose to stand beside Mingyou.

The two Kage's intention to draw Mingyou to their side appeared quite obvious.

Though neither directly spoke up for Mingyou, they silently stood behind him just the same.

Of course, in Mingyou's view, these two would not make enemies of the Fourth Raikage solely for his sake. What they likely wanted now was to mediate.

Although the Fourth Raikage had a fiery temper, his mind was extremely meticulous. Naturally, he saw through their intentions at a glance.

"Fifth Mizukage, Fourth Kazekage, you had best return to your rooms and rest now."

"Otherwise, when Uchiha Mingyou and I start fighting, the two of you may be caught in the crossfire."

Mei Terumi frowned slightly and turned to Mingyou. "Brother Mingyou, what exactly happened? What occurred between you and the Raikage?"

"Yes, tell us and let's see whether we can make peace." The Fourth Kazekage folded his arms, looking somewhat like he was there to watch the show.

The Fourth Raikage's voice came from overhead as he brought down a devastating axe kick toward Mingyou's head.

"So fast." Mei Terumi's face changed drastically. Just from the stance of the Raikage's kick, she could tell its power was no trivial matter.

If she remained where she was, she would certainly be caught in the blast due to her proximity to Mingyou.

Mei Terumi was no slouch herself. With a leap to the side, she escaped the fighting area.

The Fourth Kazekage, however, frowned slightly. Speed was not his specialty, and it was already somewhat too late for him to evade.

A deafening explosion rang out as the Fourth Raikage's kick split open a massive crater in the ground.

The long bluestone slabs shattered, brick and stone fragments scattering everywhere. At the same time, a choking cloud of dust rose into the air, obstructing everyone's vision.

On the other side of the exploded bluestone bricks, an equally astonishing sight appeared.

A huge amount of golden sand burst through the bluestone paving, forming a gold dust wall roughly five meters tall that protected the Fourth Kazekage Rasa within.

The gold dust appeared to be nearly two meters thick, and it had already defied physical inertia as it flowed upward into the sky in reverse.
