Within the Kamui Dimension, everything was completely under Mingyou's control.
The two ninjas had no ability to resist at all. With a tilt of their heads, they fell completely unconscious.
Mingyou crouched down and raised a hand to remove the two ninjas' masks. Both were unfamiliar faces—characters who had never appeared in the original story.

The ninja opened his eyes in alarm and abruptly sat up, intending to resist.
But Mingyou grabbed him by the collar and locked eyes with him.
Then, after the Uchiha Clan crest pattern in Mingyou's eyes began to spin, the ninja's vision immediately swam. He froze in place, no longer offering any resistance.
Mingyou asked coldly, "Where is Naruto Uzumaki? Tell me immediately."
"I don't know. I've never seen Naruto Uzumaki." The ninja gently shook his head and answered woodenly.
"Then there's no point in keeping you alive." Mingyou raised a hand, gripped his chin, and twisted it sharply to the side. With a crack, the sound of breaking bones rang out, and the ninja went limp, all life leaving him.
Mingyou used the same method on the second man. As expected, he received no useful information.
"Looks like I'll have to try my luck at the shelter."
Mingyou stepped out of the Kamui Dimension. After using the Transformation Technique, he took on the appearance of one of the Anbu ninjas from earlier.
He then leaped and darted between the buildings, racing toward the shelter.
There were still quite a few ninjas throughout Konoha. Like Mingyou, they were leaping through the streets and across rooftops.
