Background / History

Tang Wutong is Tang San and Xiao Wu's daughter. Tang San sealed her God Realm memories so that she could live on the Douluo Continent without the status and responsibilities of a god's child. During this period, she lived under the male disguise and identity of Wang Dong, unaware of her true name and past. 2 70

As Wang Dong, she became Ji Jing's dormitory roommate at Shrek Academy. Their first meeting was confrontational: she sensed an unexplained familiarity from him, set rules for their shared room, and challenged him to fight. 2 She later joined the Tang Sect alongside Ji Jing. 8 10

Tang San eventually judged that the memory seal had become a limitation rather than a protection. He restored her memories remotely, returning her awareness of her God Realm life, divine lineage, and identity as Tang Wutong. 70

Appearance

Before recovering her identity, Tang Wutong presented herself as the boyish Wang Dong. After emerging from seclusion, she openly returned to her female form. 2 88

  • Powder-blue hair reaching her ankles, often described as azure-blue. 88 107
  • Fair skin and refined, deity-like features. 88
  • Pink-blue, peach-blossom eyes combining youthful playfulness with a queenly nobility. 88
  • Usually wears a starlight-adorned long dress in her revealed form. 88
  • Can manifest the Sea God's radiance and phantom when revealing her heritage. 129

Personality

Tang Wutong is proud, demanding, and competitive in her early life as Wang Dong, readily challenging Ji Jing when he resists her authority in their dormitory. 2 Beneath that confidence, she is deeply affectionate and becomes increasingly open about her feelings for Ji Jing. 8 70

After recovering her memories, she becomes more decisive about both love and self-improvement. She refuses to remain behind Ji Jing or merely rely on his protection, explicitly seeking trials and responsibilities that will let her stand beside him as an equal support. 70 123 125

She also displays considerable courage and diplomacy. She enters the Star Dou Forest alone, withstands Gu Yuena's pressure, and proposes a future of coexistence between humans and soul beasts despite their historic hostility. 129 130 131
