In Skywater City, he joined Gu Dalong’s team for an Icebound Forest expedition, where a stolen herb garden awakened the Nine-Rank Ginseng King and caused a Frost Dragon corpse to glow.

• Lin Mo entered Thunder Academy’s Soul Hunting Forest without Shen Lin and used a storm and disguise to foil students who tried to steer him toward weaker Soul Beasts.
• Lin Mo killed the Golden Thunder Feather Falcon, absorbed its Thousand-Year Soul Ring, gained Golden Thunder Wings, and revealed his purple second ring at Thunder Academy.
• Salas, Yu Kun, and Ning Fengzhi each tried to recruit Lin Mo, but Lin Mo accepted Spirit Hall’s honorary token while declining the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan and Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect offers.
• The Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan sent five death warriors to assassinate Lin Mo, but Lin Mo killed their leader and Plant Academy and Spirit Hall forces finished off the rest.
• Lin Mo disguised himself, left Plant Academy, and traveled to Skywater City, where he took the identity Lin Han and accepted a system mission to survive in Icebound Forest for a month.

Lin Mo recovered from his battle with the Frost Bone Dragon, explored the Tianshui Clan’s ancestral grounds, and grew stronger by hunting a soul ring and harvesting the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well. He returned to Nuoding Academy, warned Xiao Wu about a nearby Title Douluo, and ended the stretch confronting Tang San and Yu Xiaogang.

• Lin Mo subdued the Frost Bone Dragon, forced Zi Ling into a contract, and later accepted her Hundred-Thousand-Year Left Arm Soul Bone in exchange for promising to release her within ten years.
• Lin Mo buried the Frost Phoenix Douluo, absorbed Zi Ling’s Soul Bone, and gained the Frost Domain and Ice Pillar skills before setting out for Frost City with Zi Ling.
• Lin Mo and Zi Ling found the Tianshui Clan’s hidden ice cavern, collected Ice Extreme Divine Crystals and Ten-Thousand-Year Profound Ice Marrow, and left some marrow with Shui Bing’er.
• Lin Mo reached the rank-thirty bottleneck, defeated a Purple Thunder Mad Python in Sunset Forest, and gained his third soul ring and the Thunder Prison Myriad Calamities skill.

• Tang San challenged Lin Mo after Yu Xiaogang’s confrontation with the academy principal, but Lin Mo revealed his three Soul Rings, restrained Tang San and Yu Xiaogang, and poisoned Tang San with one of his own needles.

Lin Mo escaped Tang Hao’s pursuit with Ah Yin’s seedling and Soul Bone, then traveled to Heaven Dou Royal Academy and became involved in the conflict over Ning Rongrong’s kidnapping. He stayed with Dugu Bo to treat Dugu Yan’s venom and negotiated protection and a Ten Thousand Year Soul Bone for a Fire God Pill.

• Lin Mo defeated Tang San and Yu Xiaogang, then escaped Nuoding City with Zi Ling and recovered Ah Yin’s Blue Silver Emperor seedling and Right Leg Bone from the hidden cave.
• Lin Mo absorbed the Soul Bone, reached level forty, and set out for Heaven Dou Royal Academy while Zi Ling prepared to remain at the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well.
• Lin Mo defeated Yu Tianheng and restrained Dugu Yan in spars at Heaven Dou Royal Academy, then offered to treat her venom when Ning Fengzhi took her to the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect.

• Lin Mo identified the missing Cockscomb Phoenix Sunflower as a possible cure for Dugu Yan and offered a Fire God Pill, while Dugu Bo watched him refine pills.
