Background

Tang Hao secretly kept Ah Yin, the Hundred-Thousand-Year Blue Silver Emperor, in a hidden cave behind a waterfall near Holy Soul Village, along with her Blue Silver Emperor Right Leg Bone. While he was away with Tang San, Gu Qingshan stole both the plant and soul bone. Tang Hao returned to find the cave emptied, searched desperately for clues, and vowed to tear the thief apart if found. 7 8

Six years later, he arrived at Shrek Academy to protect Tang San and Xiao Wu from Yue Guan. His appearance revealed to Tang San that his father was a Title Douluo with a red hundred-thousand-year soul ring. 24

Tang Hao fought Yue Guan and devastated Shrek Academy during their battle. After using the Clear Sky Sect’s ultimate Great Sumeru Hammer, he was struck by Gu Qingshan’s damage reflection and suffered a catastrophic abdominal wound. Seeing Gu Qingshan heal with the stolen Blue Silver Emperor Right Leg Bone, Tang Hao recognized him as Ah Yin’s thief before collapsing. 25

Tang Chen rescued Tang Hao and Tang San and brought them to the City of Slaughter. After waking there, Tang Hao learned that his grandfather was alive and intended to sacrifice everything to revive Tang San. He encouraged his son to survive and fulfill Tang Chen’s hopes. 26 27

Empowered by the City of Slaughter, Tang Hao became its King and rose to level 97. His hatred for Gu Qingshan deepened, while he allowed Tang San’s increasingly violent conduct to continue as an outlet for his son’s rage. 32

Following the destruction of the Clear Sky Sect, Tang Hao joined Tang San and Tang Yuehua in a revenge plan against Gu Qingshan. Tang Yuehua approached the Holy Son Mansion to create an opening for the Buddha Fury Tang Lotus assassination. 63 64

The attack failed when Gu Qingshan blocked the hidden weapon with the Thorn Shield. Tang Hao detonated his spirit rings for a final burst of strength, threw Tang San to safety, and directed him to Sea God Island before the reflected force tore Tang Hao apart. 68

Personality

The loss of Ah Yin drives Tang Hao into obsessive grief and vengeance. Upon discovering the emptied cave, he tears through the site and follows the thief’s trail himself, refusing to accept that Ah Yin is gone. 7

He is fiercely protective of Tang San. He intervenes against Yue Guan to protect both his son and Xiao Wu, supports Tang Chen’s sacrifice to revive Tang San despite his anguish, and ultimately gives his life to ensure Tang San’s escape. 24 27 68

After entering the City of Slaughter, Tang Hao grows harsher and more consumed by revenge. He does not restrain Tang San’s brutal behavior, believing that venting his son’s anger is preferable to letting it remain bottled up. 32
