He'd been thinking about how to get Minato to teach him the Flying Thunder God Technique. Now he'd been spared quite a bit of explaining, so he said, "That's a minor concern. If Danzo really tries to come after me, I just won't go back."
"The world's a big place. I'm sure I can find somewhere to hide."
Minato's expression stiffened.
That was exactly what he was most worried about.
From Uzuki Cangwu and the others' descriptions, Qin Yu was strong enough to be a jonin.
He might even be stronger than that.
And if you added his astonishing talent for ninjutsu to the mix,
letting Qin Yu leave Konoha Hidden Leaf Village would be a tremendous loss—and a potential threat.
"Qin Yu, don't assume the worst. Fugaku and I are on good terms. I won't let Danzo target you without restraint," Minato hurriedly reassured him. "Besides, I'll report this to the Third Hokage in advance. With his wisdom, he'll handle the matter fairly."
"You can just come back to Konoha with me without worrying."
Qin Yu had learned about Minato from the Original Work.
As the saying went, good people always died young.
So Qin Yu didn't really doubt Minato's intentions. But he wanted to get his hands on the Flying Thunder God.
If Minato brushed him off with a few words, it would be like rubbing the intelligence he'd gained over two lifetimes into the dirt.

"If you really want to learn, I can teach you a technique I developed myself."
"You mean the Rasengan?" Qin Yu rolled his eyes helplessly.
With someone as straight-laced as Minato, getting him to teach the Flying Thunder God in secret would probably be harder than killing him.
Looks like he'd have to find another way.
"You know about the Rasengan?" Minato asked, his face lighting up. "The Rasengan doesn't require Hand Seals, and its chakra requirement is fairly modest. I've also worked out a systematic way to learn it. I'll demonstrate it for you now."
"Rasengan!" Minato said, slightly tensing the five fingers of his right hand.
As chakra swirled around his hand, blue energy quickly gathered, forming a completely blue sphere of chakra in the blink of an eye.
It looked like a blue starry sky.
Of course, if you judged it by its appearance and underestimated the Rasengan,
you'd likely end up meeting your end.
There was a running joke about it in the Original Work.
There was no enemy the Rasengan couldn't handle.

And if that still didn't work, just keep making different kinds of Rasengan. Sooner or later, you'd spin your way to the ending.
