Seeing the tree that had been severed in half, Raiga Kurosuki shouted urgently.

The mist surrounding them quickly dissipated.

The Silent Killing Technique, once hailed as the strongest technique among the Mist Ninja, had now instead made things easier for the enemy.

If word of this got out, it would bring shame upon Kirigakure.

Once the mist had cleared, the Konoha Ninja were still just as flustered, but when they saw Suikazan lying amid the rubble, his life or death unknown,

and the traces of destruction left on the ground, their faces brightened with delight.

"It's Qin Yu! He must have done it!"

"With him here, we'll definitely be saved."

"Idiot, don't forget that Qin Yu killed over a hundred Cloud Ninja in an instant. He even forced the AB Duo to retreat."

"Lord Raiga, should we retreat?" one of the Mist Ninja asked, unable to hold back.

"Trying to undermine morale? You're asking for death!" Raiga acted as if he'd done nothing out of the ordinary.

As the body crashed heavily to the ground, he snarled, "You, hiding in the shadows! If you've got the guts, come out!"

"Looking for me?" Qin Yu walked out at an unhurried pace.

He glanced at Uzuki Yugao and said, "No one gets to tease my little girlfriend."

"Those who said anything disrespectful are already dead."

"A brat?" Raiga Kurosuki froze for a moment, then laughed without restraint. "I was wondering who'd attacked us from the shadows. Turns out it's just a Konoha Chunin. Suikazan, you can stop pretending to be dead, too. With Samehada, you couldn't have been badly hurt."

"Heh, Raiga, couldn't you keep that a secret for me? You'll scare off Konoha's great hero like this." Suikazan, who had been lying amid the rubble, shifted his body and stood up.

Samehada, which had been wrapped in bandages, was now fully exposed in his hands.

Its jagged blade gave off an inexplicable, suffocating feeling.

"Dad, are those the Seven Ninja Swordsmen's blades?" Uzuki Yugao wasn't in the mood to trade barbs.

Uzuki Cangwu nodded, his expression grave. "Qin Yu, be careful. According to our intelligence, the blade in Suikazan's hands is called Samehada. It can devour chakra. There's a good chance it absorbed your attack just now."

"But, Qin Yu, how did you learn Lord Minato's Rasengan?"

"You mean the Rasengan?" Qin Yu looked at Samehada and smiled knowingly. "I just learned it."

"I was just thinking about how to deal with my chakra shortage. I didn't realize I'd overlooked Samehada. I happen to be looking for a weapon that suits me."

His quiet voice swept through the battlefield.

The Konoha Ninja and the Mist Ninja all exchanged looks.

Was he really trying to rob them right in front of everyone?

"Hahaha, kid, that's the funniest joke I've ever heard." Suikazan laughed without restraint. "Let me tell you, your attack just now had plenty of force, but Samehada devoured every bit of its chakra."

"If I told you all the chakra from that heroic strike of yours is now mine, what do you think your face would look like?"

As he spoke, Suikazan showed off by having Samehada feed the chakra back into him.

At the sight, everyone present turned their eyes to Qin Yu.

"Looks like you're enjoying my chakra," Qin Yu said with a genial smile.

"But I hope you'll still be smiling in a moment."

His strange words left everyone momentarily bewildered.

The next instant, arcs of lightning surged across Qin Yu's body. Lightning Release Chakra Mode sprang into action, and he became a bolt of lightning.

Almost simultaneously, the flash of lightning passed, and Qin Yu appeared behind Suikazan.

The sudden movement made everyone tense up.

"Suikazan, watch out!" Raiga shouted a warning.

Suikazan reacted quickly, too. His massive frame showed no hint of sluggishness as he gripped Samehada tightly, ready to block again.

But when he saw what was in front of him, his pupils suddenly contracted.

"Big Ball Rasengan!"

Qin Yu tensed the five fingers of his right hand. Chakra surged into his palm like a stampede of horses.

A Rasengan over a meter in diameter formed in an instant.

With overwhelming force, it slammed straight into Suikazan.

Boom!

An explosion like rolling thunder rang out.

A torrent of chakra swept forth like a hurricane, swallowing Suikazan and Samehada in an instant.

The immense impact erupted all at once.

Suikazan, caught at the center of it, was flung away like a cannonball along with the Big Ball Rasengan.

The ground along his path was gouged into a horrifying trench.

Trees came crashing down as he hurtled past, until at last he slammed into a cliff a thousand meters away.

The cliff exploded, and a web of cracks quickly spread across its surface.

The shockwave shot into the sky and snapped the surrounding trees in half.

"Lord Suikazan was... was sent flying again!"

The Mist Ninja couldn't laugh this time as they watched Suikazan get hurled away again.

This attack was at least ten times stronger than the last.

Raiga's face turned ashen. "Suikazan, get up! You've got Samehada with you. An attack like that can't hurt you!"

His urgent words echoed through the forest.

But as his voice faded, Suikazan, lying amid the rubble, still did not get up.

Just as Raiga was losing his nerve, a bolt of lightning appeared over the rubble without warning.

"That kid! He's fast."

"When did someone this powerful appear in Konoha?"

"His speed is probably no worse than Konoha's Yellow Flash."

The Mist Ninja's expressions changed.

In their eyes, this had been a one-sided battle, like catching turtles in a jar.

But the sudden appearance of this young man had turned everything upside down.

"Sorry, looks like he was stuffed to death with chakra." Qin Yu smiled genially and casually picked up Samehada from the ground.

Raiga, watching this, saw a flicker of delight in the depths of his eyes.

"There's an opening! Lightning Style: Falling Thunder!"

Raiga instantly raised the Thunder Blade in his hands.

After channeling chakra into it, he pointed it straight at the sky.

Lightning crackled, connecting with the thunder above. A pale blue bolt instantly struck toward Qin Yu.

As one of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen, Raiga knew well that each of the seven blades had its own unique traits.

Samehada was by far the wildest and hardest to tame.
