It was obvious that Uchiha Matsuzaki's words had just gone far beyond what anyone had expected.
"Matsuzaki, are you sure you want to accept Chuanzang's challenge? The difference in strength between you two..."
"Teacher, you don't need to say anything else. I know exactly what I'm doing, so please don't worry."
As he spoke, Uchiha Matsuzaki turned and smiled at Uchiha Kawazo.
He had only meant to make Uchiha Matsuzaki embarrass himself in front of all these people, but he hadn't expected him to agree.
"Fine. Since you put it that way, there's nothing I can do. I'll just have to beat you up again, trash," Uchiha Kawazo said smugly.
"Matsuzaki is done for!"
"Yeah, I can't believe he agreed. I wonder if he's lost his mind!"
The students began chattering wildly. They were about to witness a very entertaining battle—a completely one-sided beating with no suspense.
"Ding! Host, remain within one meter of the center of the training ground for three minutes to check in. Leaving the area will count as forfeiting the check-in."
Just then, the system suddenly issued a check-in task, taking Uchiha Matsuzaki completely by surprise.
"Of all times to issue a task, this is really hard to accept."
"My current strength can easily hold out for three minutes, but I wonder if Uchiha Kawazo has gotten stronger." Uchiha Matsuzaki looked at the center of the training ground and thought.
"Never mind. I can't pass up a task when it comes along, especially since the rewards have been so good these past few days."
In no time, the two of them had prepared their gear and taken their places in the middle of the training ground.
To complete the task as required, Uchiha Matsuzaki stood right in the center ahead of time.
"Kid, you've really made me angry today. Now I can use this chance to teach you a lesson and blow off some steam!"
Uchiha Kawazo shouted from the side.
Uchiha Matsuzaki ignored him and silently thought, Let's start the check-in.
"Ding! Check-in started. 2:59, 2:58, 2:57..."
Seeing that Uchiha Matsuzaki didn't react at all, Uchiha Kawazo grew even angrier. As a member of the Uchiha Clan, how could he tolerate such humiliation?
"Damn you! I'll finish you off!"
With that, Uchiha Kawazo instantly pulled several kunai from behind his back and hurled them at Uchiha Matsuzaki.
"Just as you'd expect from someone in the Uchiha Clan. Those kunai have some force behind them!"
"Of course. Just look at who our boss is."
"But why isn't Matsuzaki dodging?"
"Isn't it obvious? He's scared stiff! This dead-last loser dared to accept our boss's challenge. He really doesn't know what's good for him!"
The students watching from the sidelines were busy discussing the fight.
While everyone else was still talking, Uchiha Matsuzaki watched the kunai flying toward him. Without changing expression, he simply turned his body slightly and dodged them with ease.
"H-How is that possible? It must've been a fluke!" Uchiha Kawazo said, staring in disbelief. As he spoke, he instantly pulled out more weapons and hurled them at Uchiha Matsuzaki with all his strength.
Just as before, Uchiha Matsuzaki simply shifted his body and easily dodged the weapons.
Though he was the dead-last student in the class, his performance this time left everyone astonished.
"Tell me, is that all you've got? If you ask me, you're the real trash! Haha!"
Uchiha Matsuzaki remained where he was, taunting him.
