"Mo Fan, aren't you afraid you'll get yourself in trouble?"
Suddenly, Zhao Manyan's voice rang out, almost making Mo Fan think he'd gone to the wrong place.
"What are you guys doing here?" Mo Fan asked, looking at Zhao Manyan and the others in surprise.
"Waiting to watch you get crushed," Lan Yu said with a sinister grin.
Mo Fan could tell that Lan Yu's grin meant trouble. "As if. Who do you think I am, Mo Fan the Great? You think someone can crush me?"
"Big Demon, do you even know who your opponent is?" Ai Tutu asked.
"Who?" Mo Fan asked, completely baffled. He hadn't bothered checking who was ranked tenth before issuing the challenge.
Lan Yu and the others exchanged glances, unable to hide the amusement in their eyes.
"Seriously, what are you guys getting at?"
"Ahem, buddy, you'd better pray for yourself. Your opponent is Ding Yumian," Zhao Manyan said, barely holding back his laughter.
"My opponent is Ding Yumian?" Mo Fan exclaimed in surprise.
"Hahaha! You don't even know who you're up against? You're definitely done for," Ai Tutu said, unable to hold back her laughter.
Mo Fan was utterly confused. What on earth were these guys up to?
The area outside the competition arena was packed with people.
Battles between the top ten usually drew countless spectators. Even mages from outside the school came to watch.
The arena, however, often had restrictions in place. You couldn't just walk in whenever you wanted.
It was only after entering the arena that Mo Fan realized this time there were even more spectators. Every seat was taken.
There were challenges every day, but they didn't all draw crowds like this.
The barrier had already been set up. Ding Yumian stood on the platform, having arrived early.
