Yang Jian had only just walked inside when he heard the voice coming from behind him.

He turned around and saw a tall, broad-shouldered boy with thick brows and fierce, tiger-like eyes.

So many familiar faces were enrolling at this time. Aside from He Caitou, whom Fan Yu had brought back, half of the Shrek Seven Devils of Huo Yuhao's generation had enrolled during this period.

Yang Jian didn't linger on Xu Sanshi for long. He soon looked away.

They hadn't gone far when several enormous statues came into view. Nearly ten meters tall, they were all carved from sturdy granite, and looked lifelike even from a distance.

"These are the ancestors of Shrek Academy. The Shrek Seven Devils and the Golden Iron Triangle laid the foundations for our academy's thousand-year legacy and glory."

As Bei Bei spoke of Shrek's ancestors, reverence showed on his face. Tang Ya beside him unconsciously straightened her chest, and when her gaze fell on Tang San's statue, it shone with admiration.

Ye Qingyuan didn't react much. At most, she gave the statues of Dai Mubai and Zhu Zhuqing a curious glance.

Were these two the ancestors of the White Tiger Duke Mansion?

But Grandmaster and Liu Erlong were cousins, and in the end the three of them could still join forces... Of course, there was an even more important point: Grandmaster actually had a child with Liu Erlong!

Bei Bei, standing beside him, was a direct descendant of Grandmaster on his mother's side.

They headed left from the statues. The road was still wide enough for four or five carriages to travel abreast. A sign by the roadside read "Lakeside Path."

Noticing their gazes, Bei Bei explained at the right moment, "That's an artificial lake built in memory of our ancestor, Tang San. It's called Sea God Lake. According to legend, our ancestor Tang San inherited the divinity of the Sea God, which is why it's called Sea God Lake."

Beyond Shrek Plaza stood a row of tall classroom buildings in different colors, mainly white, yellow, purple, and black.

Bei Bei pointed to the buildings on the far side of the plaza. "The colors of the classroom buildings represent different grade levels, and they're distinguished by Soul Ring color. White represents first-year students. The yellow buildings are for second and third year, the purple ones are for fourth and fifth year, and the black ones are for sixth year. Once you leave the black buildings, you can get your Outer Court graduation certificate."

"The gray classroom buildings in the distance belong to the Soul Guidance Department. They take up about a third of the area. There are also many specialized facilities farther back, such as the Soul Fighting Arena, the examination area, the dormitory area, and the teachers' offices."

At the mention of the Soul Guidance Department, a flash of hatred crossed Tang Ya's eyes, but she quickly hid it. Her face then took on a curious expression.

"Why are you so familiar with Shrek Academy? You're a new student too, just like us, aren't you?"

Bei Bei paused, then quickly replied, "An elder in my family works at Shrek Academy, so I've grown up here. Naturally, I know a little more about it."
