Ito Hirofumi watched Iruka-sensei, who was holding forth at the front of the classroom, explaining the finer points of the Summoning Technique to the students.

(Stop arguing about whether the Ninja Academy teaches the Summoning Technique! The academy lasts six years, and the protagonist is about to graduate! Of course they have to teach the theory! And it's only theory—there's no Summoning Scroll!)

After all these years, he had grown quite familiar with this world.

The world of Naruto!

Back then, he'd simply arranged to meet up with a girl, then somehow wound up here...

He'd been doing a good deed, hadn't he?!

With a gambling-addict dad, a sick mom, and a little brother to care for, she was so sensible. If he didn't help her, who would?!

But his grandfather was getting on in years and had long since retired to enjoy his days at home.

All sorts of clan business had been left to his father, the clan head.

The clan also had over a dozen Chunin. Though it wasn't particularly prominent among Konoha's clans, it was still a respectable force!

As the Ito Clan's young heir, Ito Hirofumi had been born with a silver spoon in his mouth.

And since Ito Aoyama and Ito Taiga were both only sons, they had always indulged Ito Hirofumi and given him everything he wanted!

He'd missed out on the hidden achievement of having his parents die to grant him immense power. The system hadn't made a peep in all these years, either, so Ito Hirofumi had no choice but to grow up the normal way.

The Ito Clan didn't have any inherited secret techniques like the Nara, Yamanaka, or Akimichi Clans.

But he'd already learned how to extract chakra and use ninjutsu.

Under the tutelage of his grandfather, Ito Taiga, and his father, Ito Aoyama, he'd grown into a fairly well-known young prodigy.

Even at his young age, he'd already cultivated chakra and mastered the Substitution Technique, the Transformation Technique, and other skills. He was even pretty handy with ninja tools!

In his class, he was a clear second only to Uchiha Sasuke!

Only Sasuke, the last surviving Uchiha, could outshine him.

So, in Sasuke's eyes, he counted as half a person, while all their other classmates didn't count at all.

Hearing Iruka-sensei explain the theory behind the Summoning Technique, Ito Hirofumi was pretty curious, too.

The clan didn't have any summoning beasts passed down through the family, so Ito Hirofumi had once wondered whether he should find a powerful beast that could cultivate chakra and make it his summoning beast.

Strength was secondary. Looking cool was what mattered for life. His summoning beast had to be the kind that was insanely awesome and flashy.

Besides, he knew exactly how the story of the Ninja World was going to unfold.

It didn't matter that he had no cheat. He could just take it easy and wait for Naruto to save the world...

After all, he'd gotten along pretty well with Uzumaki Naruto, Uchiha Sasuke, and the other members of Konoha's 11 during his years at the Ninja Academy.

He was from a small clan, after all.

It had been easy for him to fit into their inner circle.

Most importantly, Ito Hirofumi had noticed that Yamanaka Ino seemed to have a bit of a thing for him!

In the original story, Yamanaka Ino was supposed to be chasing after Uchiha Sasuke. But she hadn't done that all these years. Instead, her eyes lit up whenever she saw him!

Ito Hirofumi could understand, though. His looks were almost enough to rival those of the dear readers!

He was sturdy, and he had the same kind of roguishly handsome air as the Uchiha.

Maybe Sasuke even treated him as half a person because of his looks?!

After all, he was officially the handsomest guy in the grade!

Even Uchiha Sasuke was just a little less handsome.

Watching Iruka-sensei continue to hold forth at the front of the class, Ito Hirofumi gave the hand seals for the Summoning Technique a little thought...

First this, then this, and finally this.

BOOM!!!!!

A cloud of white smoke flashed through the classroom, and Ito Hirofumi's seat was suddenly empty!

The bizarre sight caught everyone's attention.

Iruka was completely dumbfounded!

Where had his student gone?!

How had he suddenly vanished?!!

The students were startled by the unexpected scene, too!

A kunai quietly appeared in Uchiha Sasuke's hand as he warily scanned the room.

Akimichi Choji was so frightened by the sudden vanishing act that he dropped the potato chips in his hand...

"Where's Ito Hirofumi?!" Yamanaka Ino's eyes went wide. She'd just been sneaking glances at him! How could someone so big disappear with a poof?!

The entire classroom erupted into chaos.

Nara Shikamaru scratched his pineapple-shaped hair, his brow furrowing slightly...

"This looks like trouble..."

Uzumaki Naruto, who had been fast asleep, was woken by the commotion. He looked around in confusion, a glistening string of drool hanging from the corner of his mouth. He clearly hadn't woken up properly.

"What's going on?"

Iruka came to his senses, too. He'd been explaining the Summoning Technique, and then Ito Hirofumi had suddenly disappeared. Could Ito Hirofumi have used the Summoning Technique?!

There had been a precedent, after all. Lord Jiraiya, one of the Sannin, had once accidentally summoned himself away while messing around with the Summoning Technique...

At the thought, Iruka swallowed hard. Could his student have stumbled upon the same kind of opportunity?!!

"Haruno Sakura!!!"

"Here! Iruka-sensei!" Haruno Sakura hurriedly scrambled to her feet.

"Keep the class in order! Everyone, stay calm. I'm going to find the Hokage!"

Haruno Sakura was the most obedient student in the class and the best at her academic subjects. In Iruka's eyes, she could serve much the same role as a class monitor.

"Yes! I understand, sensei!"

With that, Iruka dashed toward the Hokage Building!

(Guys, there was a problem with the protagonist's name. It was the same as a certain Japanese figure, so I'm changing it. His name was Ito Hirobumi before, but there's an issue with that name. I've changed it to Ito Hirofumi, and I'll gradually update the rest, too!)
