Pakura Leaves the Team

Over the following days, after night fell, Uchiha Chen would, as usual, tie Pakura up tightly with ropes and force her to watch helplessly as he flirted and entwined himself with Chihori.

This tormenting scene played out day after day, and every night was a long, painful ordeal for Pakura.

As time passed, they drew closer and closer to the border of the Land of Rain.

Then, one night, when Uchiha Chen was once again preparing to tie Pakura up as he had before, Pakura, who had silently endured it all this time, could no longer suppress her emotions.

Her eyes reddened, tears welling within them. Looking utterly pitiful, she spoke in a soft, delicate voice. "M-Master... I was wrong! I really know I was wrong! I shouldn't have tried to play those little tricks on you. Please be merciful and stop punishing me like this, all right? I'm begging you! Actually, I want to receive your favor too."

Hearing Pakura's plea, Uchiha Chen paused what he was doing and turned to look at her face, where fear, regret, anticipation, and other tangled emotions created a striking contrast.

Hmph, she's finally giving in. With that pitiful little look of hers, she really is tempting.

After considering it for a moment, Uchiha Chen's lips curved slightly. With a teasing smile, he said, "All right. Since you've admitted your mistake so sincerely, your master will spare you for now. But don't let there be a next time."

As he spoke, he lightly pinched Pakura's soft cheek with his fingers, then leisurely sat down on the edge of the bed.

"Pakura, you should know what you need to do next, right?" Uchiha Chen's voice was low and magnetic, as though it carried an irresistible force.

The moment his words fell, Pakura nodded eagerly.
