Fear spread through the Iwa-Suna allied forces, but Ōnoki stepped forward in time, using his prestige to give them confidence.

Under his command, the numerous Earth Release Units responded and began preparing Plan A.

A large number of Iwagakure ninja used the same ninjutsu, causing dense cracks to spread from beneath their palms and race toward Konoha's ranks.

"Everyone, be careful! The enemy's attack is coming!"

"Those who can fly, look after the comrades beside you! Those nearby who can't fly, use ninjutsu to cancel out the attack! Watch out for the cracks beneath your feet!"

Quite a few ninja emerged from Konoha's ranks, each using ninjutsu to stop the incoming attack.

Once everything settled, Konoha's force of entirely Jonin had suffered virtually no casualties. Even the few Konoha ninja who had been injured had merely twisted their ankles after getting carried away and failing to watch their footing. With the Cursed Seal's enhancement, they recovered in barely a few seconds.

As the first wave of attacks ended, the allied forces' second wave arrived.
