The child was knocked flat onto the ground, and Uchiha Cheng immediately followed up with a kick that sent him rolling several times.

The other three children remained rooted to the spot, completely unable to react. Although they were all around seven or eight years old, they were not geniuses; they could not awaken the Sharingan like Sasuke, nor did they know any ninjutsu while still attending the Ninja Academy.

Seeing Uchiha Cheng's fierce assault, the three of them trembled, not daring to step forward.

The ringleader lay on the ground for a long time, struggling to pull himself back up.

Uchiha Cheng walked over, looked down at him coldly, and said, "You will apologize for what you just said!"

"In your dreams!" the ringleader shouted through gritted teeth.

He threw another punch, and the child was knocked back down to the ground.

After a few more punches, the child's cheeks were swollen and red, his head spinning as he collapsed, unable to get back up.

The commotion here drew the attention of those nearby.

"What are you doing?"

A young man hurried over, looking to be about fifteen or sixteen years old. He had large eyes and was dressed in a black high-collared short-sleeved shirt and black trousers.

The other three children looked as if they had found a savior.

"Big Brother Uchiha Shisui! Come save our boss, he's being beaten to death!"

So this was Uchiha Shisui? Uchiha Cheng looked at the man who, in the original story, appeared in the background yet left such a heavy, colorful mark on history.

He was not old, possessing a pair of delicate phoenix eyes that were surprisingly large. His face was handsome, and he lacked the arrogance of a genius, appearing very approachable.

The man called Uchiha Shisui knelt on the ground and briefly checked the ringleader's injuries.

"Nothing serious, just some superficial wounds."

His tone was very gentle, lacking any sense of making a scene, nor did he act like the direct-line children who shouted about killing those from the branch families to uphold their status. One had to know that in terms of both strength and bloodline, Uchiha Shisui was an unquestionable direct-line descendant with the Three-Tomoe, yet he did not uphold the rules that favored his own standing.

In reality, Uchiha Cheng had not used heavy force. Although the other party had been insolent, he was still just a child, even if he was a few years older than him. Aside from the first punch, the subsequent blows had avoided vital areas, aiming for the fleshy parts. While it would hurt, it would not cause any actual injury.

Uchiha Shisui hoisted the child onto his back and turned to the others.

"I'm taking him to the hospital. You little ones, watch your boundaries next time. Control yourselves when sparring."

The three children did not dare to tell the truth. If the ringleader was a direct-line descendant, then Uchiha Shisui was the direct-line of the direct-line. They had no courage to tell him the truth.

Uchiha Shisui used the Body Flicker Technique to leave, and Uchiha Cheng breathed a sigh of relief.

He had acted on a momentary impulse, and seeing someone arrive had made him worry about trouble, especially since that child had claimed to be a Three-Tomoe direct-line descendant. Fortunately, Uchiha Shisui had not questioned any of it.

It was better to leave before more trouble started. Uchiha Cheng quickly departed from the training ground.
