Night fell. Beneath the waterfall, inside one of the hot-spring inns.
The windows were shut tight. Outside, water rustled like a curtain, and faint voices drifted from beneath the eaves:
"Hey, Sasori, take a look at the new lingerie I bought. Doesn't it look pretty?"
"Mm... Huh?"
" Heehee, Sasori, you're blushing... I knew it looked good!"
Ye Ning leaned against a pair of great melons and glanced toward the blurry silhouette by the window. The corners of his mouth couldn't help but turn up slightly.
After such a long and tiring journey, he could finally relax properly.
Still, when he thought back to what had happened that day, Ye Ning couldn't help feeling it had been a rotten experience.
They had indeed found traces of the Seven-Tails in this ravine, and Sasori had kept his end of their agreement. After quite a bit of effort, he had finally managed to capture the Seven-Tails.
But that giant bug, the Seven-Tails, had turned out to be a sneaky bastard!
Just as Ye Ning approached it, planning to absorb its chakra, the Seven-Tails—already trapped by Sasori—suddenly surged with force and sprayed a huge mouthful of scales right into his face.
The scales couldn't hurt him, but the smell... was truly hard to stomach.
At the thought of having his face sprayed with scales, Ye Ning angrily gave the thigh beneath him a squeeze.
That move made Tsunade, soaking in the hot spring with a blissful expression, open her eyes in displeasure:
"Why are you pinching me!?"
"..."
"Damn it!"
Tsunade paused briefly, then understood. She rolled her eyes at him, annoyed.
They'd already done it twice just now, and her legs were getting weak. If they kept going, she might not even be able to get out of bed tomorrow morning...
