As they neared the tall structure that was Amegakure's most iconic landmark, an overwhelming sense of unease suddenly welled up inside Konan.
She couldn't shake the feeling that something was about to happen.
Yahiko quickly noticed her troubled expression and asked,
"Konan, what's wrong? You seem a little distracted."
Glancing at the buildings around them, where everything appeared normal, Konan shook her head, her heart still uneasy.
"I suddenly have a bad feeling."

Yahiko paused, narrowing his eyes slightly as he looked up at the towering structure. His hands curled into loose fists.
The three of them had lived through an era of war. They'd abandoned what little innocence they had more than a decade ago, and naturally, they couldn't place their complete trust in Hanzo.
Still, Hanzo had always been well regarded throughout the Shinobi World, and he was never stingy with his praise for talented young people.
He had praised both the Konoha Sannin, who had made a name for themselves in the Land of Rain, and Mifune of the Land of Iron. Even when they'd met on the battlefield, Hanzo hadn't gone in for the kill.
They were only rising stars. They posed no threat to Hanzo at all.
No matter how he looked at it, Hanzo had no reason to make a move against them.
The only thing they needed to consider was whether Hanzo would use this opportunity to absorb the Akatsuki into his ranks.

"Don't worry. Hanzo is a senior figure in the Shinobi World. He wouldn't go after a few juniors like us. Besides, we have no direct conflict with Amegakure. There's no reason for him to fight us."
