Having been instructed by Shisui beforehand, Uchiha Itachi curiously sized Ye Ning up while still remembering to bow to him properly.
Afterward, Uchiha Itachi subconsciously straightened his body, standing ramrod straight as though he wanted to leave a good impression on Ye Ning.

Ye Ning rubbed his fingers together and said softly, "He really is a promising talent. Shisui, once your leave is over, take him to report to the Anbu. Put him on your team. When you think the time is right, take him to Orochimaru."

A trace of confusion flashed through Uchiha Itachi's eyes, but he kept his question to himself rather than asking immediately.
It seemed he planned to ask Shisui about it in private after Ye Ning left.
Within the snow-covered forest, a cute little boy puffed out his cheeks and trudged along with an angry pout. Every so often, he looked around as if searching for something.
