Enemies meet on a narrow road!
Staring at the three menacing figures before him, Darui's already dark face grew even darker. His brows were tightly furrowed as he fixed his gaze on Kimimaro, who stood at the front.
He sensed an immense threat from Kimimaro!
Fully aware of the deep-seated hatred between Kumogakure and Konoha, Darui did not ask any pointless questions, nor did he attempt to ease the tension. Almost instantly, he assumed a combat stance.
Kimimaro, however, remained as calm as ever, without the slightest change in expression.

Since they were enemies of Lord Ye Ning, he only needed to kill them all!
Kimimaro's expression turned cold. With a light flick of his palm, a crystalline bone sword appeared in his hand, glinting with icy light beneath the sun.
Darui's expression changed drastically at the sight, and a trace of shock flashed through his eyes.
He had not even seen Kimimaro move!
He had no idea when that bone sword had appeared in his hand!
That detail only heightened Darui's vigilance. His entire body tensed, coiled and ready to strike like a nimble leopard.
The tense atmosphere and eerie silence between the two squads were quickly shattered.
And the one who broke that silence was none other than Hozuki Suigetsu, who had long since grown impatient!
The Exploding Blade Shibuki on his back swiftly spun into his palm.
Meanwhile, in places the Kumogakure squad could not see, several silver threads were planted around the area along with Suigetsu's movements.
Ye Ning had personally asked Shisui to teach Suigetsu the technique for casting silver threads.
