At that moment, Nine-Tails looked like a little weakling surrounded by a crowd of burly men.

"Now that the seal's undone, why aren't you getting out?"

Naruto asked, amused.

Nine-Tails knew the Shinobi World was full of dangers.

One careless mistake could land you in trouble.

After going through several world wars,

it had learned one thing: there was always someone stronger.

It had once possessed all of its power,

but in the end, hadn't it been treated like a powerless animal,

at the mercy of powerful shinobi?

If word got out that it had escaped,

plenty of powerful shinobi would come after it.

It could hold off the weaklings.

But if it ran into a Kage Level shinobi, it would be in trouble.

Especially that damn Uchiha Masked Man, thirteen years ago!

It was the same wherever it went.

It might as well stay with Naruto, whose strength was so monstrous that Nine-Tails couldn't even fathom it.

At first, it resisted the fusion intensely.

But under Naruto's deliberate control,

the two powers merged perfectly into one.

Feeling a steady stream of power flow through his body,

Naruto felt completely refreshed!
