Konohamaru Sarutobi, who knew little about the ways of men and women,
widened his eyes until they shone.
It was as if he'd discovered a whole new world.
He exclaimed excitedly,
"Big Bro, I want to learn this!"
Naruto nodded. The kid was quick on the uptake.
"It's not easy to master, you know. Are you confident you can stick with it and keep going?"
"Reporting in, Big Bro! I am!"
"Louder. I can't hear you."
"Reporting in! Big Bro! I am!"
"Louder! What, haven't you eaten?"
"I AM!!!"
Konohamaru roared with all his might.
The Anbu watching from the shadows all jolted.
The Third Hokage's grandson might be young, but he sure had a set of lungs.
They nearly had their eardrums blown out.
The Anbu members looked at one another,
then cast pitying glances at Naruto, who was closest to Konohamaru.
They hoped Naruto's ears were all right.
Becoming the deaf successor wouldn't be good.
The faint chakra blocking his ears faded away.
Naruto gave him a thumbs-up and grinned. "You did great! Big Bro believes in you."
He'd been ready for it.
He'd used chakra to temporarily block his hearing.
Even if Konohamaru screamed himself hoarse,
he wouldn't hurt Naruto in the slightest.
"Big Bro, when do we start training?"
Konohamaru couldn't wait!
That awesome jutsu—
he truly wanted to learn it.
Naruto had even given it a fitting name,
and Konohamaru couldn't help
wanting to become the top disciple in Naruto's ranks!
"No rush. You still haven't told me your name."
Naruto waved a hand.
At this point,
they hadn't met yet.
Naruto was here today because the timeline had changed.
As for Konohamaru, his friends hadn't accepted him,
so he'd come out to clear his head.
By chance, he'd run into Naruto, a diligent student who was seriously reading and eager to learn.
"Hehe... My name's Konohamaru Sarutobi! That old man, the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, is my grandpa!"
When he called him an old man,
Konohamaru might not admit it, but deep down he was proud of Hiruzen Sarutobi.
Having a Hokage for a grandfather was a great honor.
But everything had its pros and cons.
His dream of becoming Hokage
was incredibly hard to achieve beneath his grandfather's enormous shadow.
Because whenever people talked about the Sarutobi Clan,
they only ever mentioned Hiruzen Sarutobi
and his uncle, Asuma Sarutobi.
Even though his uncle Asuma had achieved amazing things,
Hiruzen Sarutobi's Hokage halo quickly overshadowed them.
Seeing how outstanding his uncle was,
yet how insignificant he seemed next to his grandfather,
Konohamaru wanted to find the drive to pursue his dream,
but felt he didn't have what it took.
"Nice to meet you, Konohamaru. Let me introduce myself again: I'm Naruto Uzumaki."
Naruto grinned, then paused.
Then he kept on spinning his tale... ahem, preaching.
"You called me Big Bro, so I'm definitely taking you on as my little bro!"
"Besides the S-Rank Seduction Technique, there are even more powerful jutsu a real man has to learn!"
"If you don't learn them, you don't deserve to be called a man in my book."
Konohamaru was completely taken in.
His eyes sparkled.
"A real man???"
Naruto nodded.
"That's right, a real man. All right, enough talk. Time for some hellish special training!"
"First, gather your chakra, then picture the scene in your mind. Ideally, you should imagine yourself right there in it."
Konohamaru was stumped. He said helplessly,
"Big Bro, I don't know how to gather chakra..."
Naruto clicked his tongue.
"What a hassle. Guess we'll start from scratch!"
"Remember, the better you train, the more manly you'll be!"
"Make this a goal you pursue for the rest of your life. By the way, your dream is to become Hokage one day, right?"
Konohamaru's face lit up.
This big bro he'd just met already understood him!!!
"That's right, Big Bro! Wait... how did you know?"
"I don't think I ever told you."
Naruto said earnestly, "What do you mean? I'm your big bro. How could I not know what's on your mind?"
"Uh..."
"Enough, I'm just messing with you. Actually, I can tell you've got an extraordinary physique and a dignified bearing. A purple turtle aura is swirling around your forehead! You're destined for great things."
Konohamaru stared at him, dumbfounded.
From his expression, it was obvious—
he completely believed what Naruto had said.
He was practically about to say so out loud.
The more time he spent with Naruto,
the more he noticed the admirable qualities Naruto had.
Oh! So many of my ideas were wrong before?
Only someone who mastered the S-Rank Induction Jutsu could be a real man!
Only then would he have a chance to become Hokage!
The Hokage seat went around in turns. This year, it was my family's turn.
Naruto wanted to sit in that seat for a while.
After all, it belonged to him.
Then, when he retired, he'd hand it over to Konohamaru.
Boruto would still be too young then, so he could wait for the next Hokage term.
Ahem... Besides Boruto, there'd definitely be Boruto's younger brothers, too.
As for how many there'd be,
that depended on how many siblings the heavens wanted him to have.
He had absolutely no problem with that.
The key was that getting pregnant was mostly up to whether the woman could conceive.
But Naruto, who'd watched Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, thought that kid was way too annoying.
It'd be fine if Boruto wasn't his firstborn.
It all depended on how he felt at the time.
By then, the Shinobi World would have entered the age of science and technology.
Getting a prenatal X-ray or something wouldn't be a problem.
If it was a boy, they'd abort it.
Himawari, on the other hand, was a must.
Daughters were the cutest.
Boys could forget it. Naruto was genuinely exhausted.
But how many daughters he'd have after that was anyone's guess...
Anyway, Naruto figured the more, the better.
After all, as Hokage, he wouldn't be short of the money needed to support his family.
648? One pull for a miracle!
The firstborn had to be a daughter!
Daughters were the best!
Lots of fathers dreamed of having a sweet little girl.
Naruto was no exception.
P.S. A friend just started writing a One Piece novel. If you're interested, go check it out.
It's called One Piece: I Am Rocks.
It's amazing, really fun, and a great, action-packed story.
I got so excited reading it!
Whether I can add another chapter tonight depends on you, my dear readers. I'm off to write. Daughters are the best!
Wishing all my dear readers a house full of daughters, and may every 648 pull bring a miracle! Daughters are the best!
