An aged, translucent phantom figure sprang out from the nearby bushes and flew into the air. He clasped his hands toward Queen Medusa below.

"Space Cage!" An aged roar rang out from the sky.

The space around Queen Medusa suddenly formed a massive transparent cage, sealing her within. The space she occupied seemed faintly severed from the outside world.

"You brat, why are you so pathetic?" Yao Lao said with utter disdain.

"Cough, cough!" Xiao Yan also emerged from the bushes nearby.

"Hm? A Space Cage? A Dou Zong expert?" Queen Medusa's expression turned grave as she looked at the illusory space around her. Her brocade robe was half wet, half dry, yet she had no idea how alluring she looked to men.

"Mysterious human expert, I, Queen Medusa, have no intention of fighting you. Please withdraw at once," Queen Medusa said after hesitating for a moment.

"Heh heh, that is not for me to decide. Ask that brat." Yao Lao in the sky gestured with his chin toward Xiao Yan below.

The light within the Space Cage surged relentlessly. Then came a roar somewhat like a lion's roar, yet also like a tiger's howl. Finally, where Queen Medusa had stood, a graceful purple giant snake over ten zhang long appeared.

"Yan kid, be careful," Yao Lao warned. Xiao Yan rolled away in a miserable scramble.

"Humans, you have angered me." The purple giant snake swayed its long body and spoke in human speech.

Then its snake body, over ten zhang long, charged fiercely at the Space Cage imprisoning it. Even Yao Lao was startled by its unstoppable momentum, and he immediately increased the flow of spatial power.
