After finishing the whole book and doing all that research, I realized this was damn hard to write. I nearly decided to just give up.
First, the timeline was a mess.

There were three places in the text that mentioned when Xiao Yan arrived.
The first: several decades ago, Luo Tianshen saved someone who had ascended from a lower plane.
The second: in barely a hundred years, he had already built such a formidable reputation.
The third: in only a few hundred years, he had made the Endless Fire Territory into a major superpower on par with the Sword Territory and the Land of Ten Thousand Graves.
So here was the question: had Xiao Yan been here for several decades, nearly a hundred years, or several hundred years?
I was completely baffled.
Second, there was no original plot to rely on.
Writing so far ahead of the main storyline meant there was no main plot to follow at all. Everything had to be original, and it was seriously too hard!!
