For example, Battle Through the Heavens: Five Emperors Shatter the Void mentioned a plot point:
Xiao Yan became an Emperor, and then, several decades later, Xun'er, Cai Lin, Zhu Kun, and Gu Yuan successively became Emperors before finally shattering the void and leaving.
So the question was, how many years were those several decades?
Ten years? Twenty years? Thirty years? Or even ninety years?
Compared to the original, the Xiao Yan I wrote became an Emperor roughly ten years earlier, then remained on the Dou Qi Continent for another twenty years before shattering the void.
But there was still no way to determine which version had him shattering the void earlier than the original.
If, in the original, Xiao Yan had only stayed on the Dou Qi Continent for ten years after becoming an Emperor, then the two differences would cancel each other out, and the timing of shattering the void would be the same in both the original and this book.
So don't dwell on this. I figured even Tiancan Tudou himself would be utterly confused. "Several decades" was probably just something he casually wrote.
I would make slight adjustments to the next timeline according to the plot. Xiao Yan and Lin Dong would meet; as for when exactly, that would remain a secret for now. That's it.
P.S. A friend said that Xiao Yan and Lin Dong meeting in the Plane Passage was official canon. I went to check the ending of Martial Universe, and it really was true. Mm, it was great.
