That business card had once belonged to him, though only for a very short time.
He had only spent a week in the First Investigation Division, and printing and distributing the cards had taken several days. In reality, he had only had four brief days to use them.
And at the time, Kenji Hagiwara's death anniversary had been approaching. His attention had been wholly focused on the bombing case. He had not gone home for days, practically living in the office.
Combined with this man's face, which had changed somewhat but still had very distinctive features...
Matsuda Jinpei shot Tangze a sidelong glance before adjusting his expression.
"Matsuda... Jinpei." He rubbed his chin and put on a thoughtful look. "There isn't anyone by that name in the First Investigation Division now. I'm not very familiar with the name, but I've heard other people mention it..."
