As the scorching flames faded, Natsuki Koshi pushed herself upright and stared in astonishment at the completely different clothes she was now wearing.
She had just been overwhelmed by her emotions. Though her power had indeed awakened, now that she had broken free of that state, she still did not quite understand what exactly she had gained.
"You look a little confused, Miss Detective."
Natsuki Koshi withdrew her gaze from her gloves and turned around, only to see a circle of people in all sorts of strange outfits surrounding her.
"...I was prepared for this, but seeing all of you out of nowhere is still startling." Surrounded as she was, Natsuki Koshi instinctively tensed in shock before quickly calming down.
This was indeed her first time seeing Joker in his Phantom Thief attire, but it was not the first time she had heard him speak in that voice. She almost immediately realized who these people were.
These must have been Joker's Phantom Thief Troupe, the group she had heard of but never seen.
"Don't laugh at us. Aren't you the same now?" Matsuda Jinpei raised a hand and pointed at his sunglasses.
Natsuki Koshi looked confused for a moment, then raised her own hand and touched her face, only to feel a leather mask.
Like Zorro's most iconic look in the movies, a leather mask now covered her face. It had openings only for her eyes and fit snugly against her features as though it had been custom-made.
"Hmm, a very classic vigilante outfit." Kenji Hagiwara studied her with his chin in his hand. "If I ever get a moment like this in the future, I hope I end up looking like that too."
