Spirit Realm's second Golden Alliance had been born, and it was Zhai Cai again.

A Golden Alliance was the highest-tier donation. It meant a lot to a book—more exposure, a boost in reputation, and plenty of other benefits.

With such a big shot supporting me like this, I had to dedicate a chapter to thanking him (shamelessly groveling).

I remember saying in the last thank-you chapter that Zhai Cai had asked whether I wanted a Golden Alliance, and I thought he was joking.

Then the Golden Alliance actually arrived the next day.

And this time, it was another casual remark: "Want a Golden Alliance to celebrate?"

And then the Golden Alliance really came.

Zhai Cai was the biggest spender I'd encountered in all my years of writing. Absolutely loaded.

Who wouldn't love Golden Alliances and Silver Alliances? But I was thin-skinned, and I always felt bad making a big shot spend so much money. I was just being overly sentimental about it.

When Zhai Cai asked today whether I wanted a Golden Alliance to celebrate, I immediately sent him a kneeling-and-groveling meme. Honestly, I felt pretty embarrassed inside, but he was giving far too much.

After all these years of writing, I actually got to experience having a big shot backing me up. I was both thrilled and grateful.
