"Scratch, scratch."
The sound of fingernails scraping against the coffin lid came from within the coffin. It was especially clear—and especially chilling—in the silent night.
Chen Bloodblade and Zhang Yuanqing sprang to their feet, their eyes fixed firmly on the coffin.
Chen Bloodblade slowly picked up the longsword resting against the table. Thick, viscous yellow light rose from his body, making him seem as solid and imposing as Mount Tai—like an insurmountable peak.
So strong. Unbeatable strong. Zhang Yuanqing finally confirmed Chen Bloodblade's level: an undisputed Level 6.
A Level 6 Mountain God, and one who had deployed his domain, was beyond Zhang Yuanqing's ability to contend with at present. No matter what methods he used, he could not stand against him.
Of course, if he did not enter the other man's domain, then with the reserves of a treasure-laden master like himself, he could still flee if he could not win. His life would not be in danger.
Having experienced Chen Bloodblade's strength firsthand, Zhang Yuanqing felt much more at ease.
"Scratch, scratch."
The scraping grew louder. The entire coffin began to tremble faintly, and whatever was inside seemed on the verge of breaking free.
Zhang Yuanqing silently took out a Zombie Suppressing Talisman and a Spirit Sealing Talisman. As for his items, he did not take them out immediately. Although Chen Wei and the others had fully accepted the existence of the two Yin corpses, the Inventory and his endlessly emerging items were still rather bizarre.
It was difficult to say whether Chen Bloodblade would naturally accept them as well, so Zhang Yuanqing decided to wait and see.
If things truly became dangerous, it would not be too late to take them out then.
"Scratch, scratch."
The scratching continued, and the coffin shook even more violently.
